No way! Yesterday on twitter a insider said he was solidly going to Syracuse. But this morning I checked our 247 decommit list and it had him listed (and still does) have him listed as a decommit on 11/29/25, so Saturday. Weird since he was always committed to Syracuse and 247 never listed him as committed to us.

Anybody have a guess as to how Franklin is flipping some of these kids? (Ones from schools other than Penn State) He theoretically had the NIL money at PSU to get them to play there if he wanted, right? Is it early playing time on a thin roster at Tech? Not that I'm unhappy or anything, just so interesting he's been able to get kids from schools other than PSU to flip seems impressive in such a short time!

I think besides the NIL, playing time, etc. that Franklin is just naturally charismatic.
On at least one I think it was proximity to family. Witherington had been recruited by Franklin but told no at PSU over Kentucky. Kentucky firing Stoops and VT being closer to home helped big time.
Many coaches fired with unstable new coach situations helped as well with others.
Witherington and Oates were flipped from schools who had just lost their coaches, so those guys would've had to commit to new staffs.
This isn't Lousisana where every kid in the state wants to play for LSU. Most of these guys signed at PSU to play for Franklin
