I don't know how I feel about this...

Initially I hated this.... But then 22 seconds into the video happened, and I lost it

"When I was growing up, Virginia Tech was a school that was kicking ass and taking names, and it's time we get back to that" - James Franklin

Beamer at the end makes it worth it. I promise

"I'm high on Juice and ready to stick it in!" Whit Babcock

That's hilarious. Perfect for a laugh on a Friday!

"Exit light..."

I wish they would have used the chicken dance music for this. That techno killed me

well that's an actual song.. and where the selfie phrase came from
Actual Song

"I'm high on Juice and ready to stick it in!" Whit Babcock

Yep, this is where it's from.

"That move was slicker than a peeled onion in a bowl of snot." -Mike Burnop

Elders react to the song

"I'm high on Juice and ready to stick it in!" Whit Babcock

They should have had Beamer lip syncin the entire time

"When I was growing up, Virginia Tech was a school that was kicking ass and taking names, and it's time we get back to that" - James Franklin

or do a remake like the harlem shake

"I'm high on Juice and ready to stick it in!" Whit Babcock

"Wait..... pause... Mike London just liked my selfie... what. a. creep..."

"When I was growing up, Virginia Tech was a school that was kicking ass and taking names, and it's time we get back to that" - James Franklin

edit: Mike London wouldn't be able to take a selfie due to the use of a Timeout

"I'm high on Juice and ready to stick it in!" Whit Babcock

He would just take a picture of the word "ME".

"Nope, launch him into the sun and fart on him on the way up"
-gobble gobble chumps

"11-0, bro"
-Hunter Carpenter (probably)

That's Just Painful... Urp

Im with you horse. Im in my 20s and im already shaking my head at the music these days. I assume its all downhill from here

@VTimHokie85

Me as well, I think I first noticed it when we were recruiting David Cornwell and he mentioned the Ariana Grande as the celebrity he would like to date and I had no idea who he was talking about.

I was just about to write that I strangely have more in common with the musical tastes of my parents than I do with teenagers who are much closer to me in age, and then I realized that my parents are about 20 years older than me and I'm already 10-15 years older than teenagers in high school, so its not that much of a stretch for that to be the case. When did we get halfway through the second decade of the "new" millennium? It seems like yesterday that I was watching Carson Daily on TRL and it was cool for a football team to run out to "Who Let the Dogs Out?"

I'm just going to put this video here and resign myself to the fate that I'm less than a decade away from an even more embarrassing midlife crisis than the woman in the video when I streak around town while blasting Blink 182's "What's My Age Again" from a boombox (they still make boomboxes don't they?):

This will always be cool (this was the most sfw gif I could find):

Yup

I'm with you. Ever since the fall of grunge and punk from the charts it really hasn't been the same. It's all one hit wonders that sometimes are just so bad they just manage to go viral. I think the most telling stat is how many songs from the charts five years ago are still played with any semblance of frequency.

The very end did it for me.

"That move was slicker than a peeled onion in a bowl of snot." -Mike Burnop

I absolutely love Whit. This has his stank all over it. One of the best hires in VT history.

I love Frank's participation in the latest dumb fads. Not quite his Harlem Shake but still pretty great.

Live for 32. Ut Prosim. Let's Go, Hokies.

I'd like to state, for the record, that I don't really want to see CFB planking.

This is going to be great for the ACC.

How do you feel about him "Faith Hilling"?

How about "Taylor Swifting?"
