Goal for this weekend is a sweep. Concern would primarily be Michigan State. They have wins over #13 Clemson, Pitt, Longwood, and BYU. Their sole loss was to Auburn. They have scored at least 4 runs in every game and are averaging 6.4 runs per game.

For sure! Softball has all kinds of "romantic" puns you can use during the game. Discuss how great it is to drill a hard liner into the gap with two balls, etc.
Finally found live stats for the game after searching for a broadcast.
Hokies scored 2 in the 2nd off of a HR by Abromavage. Another run in the 3rd off of a double by Lynch. 3-0 Hokies in the mid of the 3rd.
Yeah unfortunately only looks like the game against Charlotte is broadcast.
Pretty sure it is because technically the Charlotte ESPN affiliate doesnt have rights to the visiting teams. Michigan St rights belong to Fox Sports. Villanova I am not sure and Hokies technically belong to ACCN.

Villanova gets a couple of walks and a single to score 1 making it 7-3 in the bottom of the 7th before the Ladies close the door to make it final.
Sparty proving to be a tougher team. Hokies were out to a 3-0 lead in the 2nd, but Sparty has scored 4 in the bottom of the 2nd. A runner remains on 2nd with no outs. Hopefully this doesn't get out of hand early.
Went to 6-3 Mich. St. after 2. Hokies get 2 back on a homer by Lynch to pull within one in the top of the 4th.
Get it down to 1, but lose 7-6. Too many errors and walks.
