Good interview. He is the man, always enjoy his insights

His retirement seems lovely

I love what TSL has been doing with their podcasts lately. This combined with David Teel on every Wednesday has been so fun to listen to throughout the last few months.

"Now Miami wants to talk about it." *Cue Enter Sandman*

Teel is good, but when he starts in about uva for 30 minutes makes me want to throw up

Thank you for that post. His sickening love for Bronco soured me on him, and I'm glad someone else gets rankled.

Must've smoked a doobie with him out on the ranch, lol.

Yeah I like Teel but he's an ACC big picture columnist. He gets a bit nostalgic or gleeful at times about UVA or UNC which isn't great for a VT fan podcast. But I guess it's the intersection of what TSL is trying to do now with Bitter and bringing more formal journalism from certain angles.

I agree with this. Also, he just has an old-timey voice. Like his voice sounds like a 1980s newspaper. Great bedtime listening though.

Yeah, I get it that he's been around a long time and to be fair, he's not Bill Brill's Duke devotion bad. I didn't really care about him one way or the other until the Bronco stuff. I just need to lighten up and like a fellow TKPer advised me on another largely inconsequential gripe, just get over it.

Both thoroughly enjoyed hearing the stories and also felt that yearning for "goodness sakes I hope we have a future beyond reminiscing about the good old days of the program like Bud tells so well."

That was peak rememberin' some dudes

At one point, I was thinking are they just going to start naming dudes that played for Bud between 1995 and 2015?

Hey, they can't use that format, its already taken!

I'm not much of a podcast guy, but I've found their show to be fun.

I do art stuff.

I got watching a couple of them recently and they are pretty good. Saw the one with Alan Tudyck and Nathan Fillion and it was fun hearing all the behind the scenes stuff that went on with both shows.

As an aside, I'm not really into podcasts much myself, but I absolutely love the Daniel Tosh one. I'd compare his ability to interview and relate with a guest up with the level of Craig Ferguson when he had his late night show.

The Fillion/Tudyk one, the Felicia Day one and the Levar Burton one were all fantastic.
