After having 70 hung on them by WVU, and letting FSU march up and down the field, Clemson fans are wondering what's wrong with their defense. This post does a very good job explaining specific shortcomings of the Clemson D (it makes me feel better about our chances against them), but the broader themes are applicable to any team/program.

Holy nutz that's long.
Three thoughts:
1. He's probably right, but a lot of it is "want-to," and "want-to" can change very quickly. Shut out BC and everyone will be happy again.
2. Seems like classic post-loss overreaction. We get the same thing. Never as good...never as bad...yada, yada.
3. Pretty much everything he said about strength translating into game strength and fundamentals can be and has been said about our Oline.
Don't hold your breath
Regardless of how poor CU's defense is, truth be known is that most any team not named FSU is going to have a hard time matching points with their offense. Let's hope we have shored up our defensive miscues by the time we march to Death Valley.
