Midterm Predictions
Most Surprising: Rutgers/Oregon State (take your pick)
Most Disappointing: Virginia Tech (homer obvious pick is homer and obvious)
Conference Champions
ACC: Florida State over Virginia Tech
SEC: Alabama over Florida
B1G: Nebraska over Wisconsin
Big 12: Snyder Kats

Heisman
1. Collin Klein (KSU)
2. Manti Te'o (ND)
3. Geno Smith (WVU)/Kenjon Barner (ORE)
I'll take oregon state over rutgers, and unfortunately I agree with the hokies.. or maybe florida state, a lot of people's pick to win the national title loses to nc state? That's pretty disappointing.
we'll learn more about the sec race this week with south carolina vs florida. I think south carolina takes the eastern division, but Bama still takes the sec.
Heisman:
-Collin def gets a vote.
-Geno had it before that debacle at TT that holgorson conveniently blamed on the wind.
-I don't see Te'o winning it at all. He's def the best in the nation on the defensive side, but for a defensive player to win heisman he needs to get a touchdown every two/three weeks or force a turnover every two weeks in my opinion or it's not a realistic chance. He's a beast though, not taking anything away from him.
-I'd throw in Manziel and Braxton Miller too, for the time being.
Hmmm....
Most Surprising Team: Oregon State. Damn that Mike Riley is a good coach.
Most Disappointing Team: Arkansas. They have a ton of talent, but they might be putting it back together for the 2nd half of the year.
Conference Champions
ACC: Virginia Tech over Florida State

Big 12: OU

Heisman (winner and two finalists): Geno Smith beats out Teo and Manuel.
Not sure on Heisman finalists
Most Surprising Team: Oregon St, Notre Dame, Penn St

ACC: FSU over VT
SEC: Alabama over South Carolina
BIG: Wisconsin over Nebraska
Big 12: Oklahoma
Big East: Rutgers
P12: Oregon over USC
Heisman (winner and two finalists): Geno Smith, Collin Klein...
I can personally confirm
...that Auburn is one of the 15 worst teams in college football. The LSU game was an anomaly.
Most Surprising Team: Gotta go with Florida
Most Disappointing Team: Florida State (really? The last 40 times you've played NC State when you're ranked they've beat you, and you let it happen again?)

Geno trophy
Teo
Powlus ... for beano
Powlus is the QB's Coach....
...at Kansas.
Yeah, Beano Cook famously predicted the Powlus would win the Heisman Trophy twice while at Notre Dame...before he had even played his first game for the Irish. Needless to say, he was wrong. RIP Beano
Most Surprising Team: Oregon State; they were 3-9 last year!
Most Disappointing Team: Auburn; still got hope for the Hokies.
Conference Champions

Big 12: WVU
B1G: Wisconsin over Nebraska
Big East: Louisville
Heisman

If UNC was a better squad, I think Gio Bernard would be in the mix here.

Midterms....
Terminology that struck fear into me during college....not so much now.
Most surprising in a positive role: Oregon State (who knew??)
Most surprising in a disappointing role: It's a tie! Arkansas and GA Tech
And in the Conference Champions;
ACC: FSU (dagnabbit!)
SEC: Bama over anybody and everybody else
PAC 12: Oregon, but that's because the shiny helmets reflect the sun and blind opposing players.
Big 12: I think K-State, but that's an I-have-no-idea-pick of the post
B1G: Ohioooo...no wait....Penn Sta...no, can't do that either...even though my wife's beloved Hawkeyes are on the top of their side of the conference at the moment, I can't pick them in good conscience (they lost to Central Michigan???)....Michigan State was my earlier pick but they can't seem to figure out that you have to have an offense to play and win a college football game (but on a positive note, the Hawkeyes beat them!!)...I guess I have to go with Wisconsin by default (sorta, kinda)
Big East: Really? Someone actually cares? We're not picking a Conference USA champ? ok, I guess I'll pick Rutgers.
Heisman winner: At this point I'm guessing De'Anthony Thomas (Oregon), but it's not won until the last weekend, so it's a crap shoot.....which is a phrase that means something totally different in West Virginia....believe me you don't want to know.
Oops...
I missed the team 1 over 2 thing...I'll make up for it here
ACC: FSU over VT (double dagnabbit!)
SEC: Bama does it over SC
PAC 12: Oregon blinds USC (twice)
B1G: Wisc gets Mich
Most Surprising Team: Oregon State
Most Disappointing Team: Auburn
Conference Champions (for everyone but Big East and Big 12, Team 1 over Team 2)
ACC: FSU over VT
SEC: Bama over USCe
PAC 12: USCw over Oregon
Big 12: West Virginie
B1G: Nebraska over Wisconsin
Big lEast: Rutgers
1. Geno
2. Klein
3. De'Anthony
This was tough, what fool came up with it?
Most Surprising Team: Oregon State, with Florida as a close second. I don't think anyone had the Beavers at 5-0 except for In-N-Out Burger. Their schedule up until now has been on the soft side, but they've won 3 road games, and toasted BYU. Stanford and Oregon loom large.
Most Disappointing Team: Auburn, with Texas as a close second. Gene Chizik might be fired less than two years after winning the national championship, that's unheard of.
Conference Champions
ACC: FSU > Miami (Back Bowl)
SEC: Florida over Alabama (I think Alabama rolls into Hotlanta 12-0, but Florida just lets it all hang out and pulls the upsets)
B1G: Michigan over Wisconsin
Big 12: K-State
Big East: Louisville by the benefit of hosting Cincinnati
Pac-12: Oregon over USC
Heisman (winner and two finalists): 1) Geno Smith 2) Teo 3) Montee Ball
Key to Mike Riley's success:
Yes i did pick Oregon State
Most Surprising Team: Oregon St
Most Disappointing Team: Auburn
Conference Champions (for everyone but Big East and Big 12, Team 1 over Team 2)
ACC: FSU over VT
SEC: South Carolina over Alabama
BIG: Nebraska over Wisconsin
Big 12: Kansas State
Big East: Louisville
Pac-12: Oregon State over USC (WHY THE HELL NOT)
Heisman (winner and two finalists): 1)Klein 2)Geno Smith 3) T'eo
Most Surprising Team: Ohio (BCS Busters)
Most Disappointing Team: Arkansas (is there really any other choice?)
ACC: FSU over VT
SEC: Alabama over Florida
Big10: Northwestern over Wisconsin (I really want it to happen)
Big 12: Kansas State
Big East: Rutgers
Pac-12: Oregon over USC
Heisman: 1) Collin Klein 2) Geno Smith 3) Stefphon Johnson
Hard to believe halfway gone
Most Surprising Team: Notre Dame, looking really good and really surprised to see them doing it on Defense
Most Disappointing Team: Arkansas, they were supposed to have a chance in the SEC and don't think anyone saw them falling this far
Conference Champions (for everyone but Big East and Big 12, Team 1 over Team 2)
ACC: FSU over VT
SEC: Alabama beating Sakerlina
BIG: Nebraska over Wisconsin (OSU is the best team in the B1G tho)
Big 12: Kansas State
Big East: Cincy
Pac-12: Oregon over USC
Heisman (winner and two finalists):
1)Geno Smith - incredible stats
2)T'eo - incredible story
3)Klein
4)Braxton Miller - just adding it in there
