Its an awesome visual that proves that the SEC gets as much love as they do for playing with themselves (pun intended). Seriously auburn has the hardest schedule apparently and plays two jokes of an out of conference game in Louisiana tech and san Jose state and one mediocre game against Kansas state that they ought to win anyway. Meanwhile their rankings are kinds of screwed up.... really Alabama at #1? What reason at all do they have to rank bama that high?! Flame off, its really cool for viewing whose playing who in the nonconference game I just think the rankings of the schedule have it all kinds of wrong

Taylor, looking desperately throws it deep..HAS A MAN OPEN DANNY COALE WITH A CATCH ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FIVE!!!!....hes still open

I tweeted/ranted about this the other night. The reason SEC teams have great strength of schedule is because how many of them are in top 25. I can bring up 3 instances last year where the SEC benefited by over ranking of the teams. Its not rocket science to see ESPN and College Football has revolved/chocked on the SEC ding a ling. Meanwhile they forgot to mention UF is trailer trash, Ole Miss is mediocre and the bottom dwellers in the SEC are as bad as ACC bottom Dwellers.

Really Ole Miss is ranked 19 in top 25 meanwhile they went 3-5 in conference and finished 8-5 on the year with 1 quality win against LSU 2 decent wins against Vandy and Texas and real tough wins against SE Missouri State, Idaho, Troy, Arkansas and GT

With their easy schedule to lead the year I will bet $ that Ole Miss will be top 10 when they play Bama in week 4.

They have Alabama listed as the 46th hardest schedule.

You need to read the explanation under the graphic and read the links:

This visualization is based on Brian Fremeau's drive-based, opponent-adjusted FEI ratings. Game locations (home/away/neutral) are factored into the strength of schedule calculations. In the drop-down menu, top-5 teams are considered 'Elite' and teams ranked 20-25 are considered 'Good'.

FEI ranking explained:

The Fremeau Efficiency Index (FEI) is a college football rating system based on opponent-adjusted drive efficiency. Nearly 20,000 possessions are contested annually in FBS vs. FBS games. First-half clock-kills and end-of-game garbage drives and scores are filtered out. Drive efficiency is a function of the starting field position and outcome of each remaining possession. Opponent adjustments are calculated with special emphasis placed on quality performances against good teams, win or lose.

Alabama has the highest FEI from 2009 - 2013. I think we can all agree that they were the all around best team during that time period.
