weekly questions thread?

I just thought about an idea for a weekly thread, and I thought I'd run it past everyone to see if there's support for it before I pitch it to Joe et al.

Would y'all be interested in an open weekly thread where people can ask questions about football in general, our team, our schemes, etc. And then whoever knows the answer can respond? I just occasionally have minor questions that aren't really worth starting a whole thread, like "does our defensive line play left and right, or do they switch strong and weak?"

Let me know what you guys think.

Not sure an extra thread is needed. you can usually just ask anything you want in any thread you want. generally someone gives an answer. On top of that in the game previews and post-analysis French, Joe and Mason usually answer as much as possible and everyone else picks up the slack. Pretty sure with Alex, Mark and Brian now on staff they will lend to this too.

Eh, threads have been made that are much more unnecessary than this idea, which I think is a good one btw.

For sure. I'm not saying it's not a good idea, just saying there are already lots of weekly threads that afford Q&A. I have no objection either way.

If you have a question, article, tweet, etc... to share the best thing to do is start a new thread. It's not a bad idea, but given the number of posters here and the volume at which they comment, a weekly thread would get out of control and bury topics.
