Dumb question, but how exactly do season football tickets work? Costs, etc? I checked hokie tickets but isn't exactly clear how you go about getting them. Are there minimum donation levels to get them?

There may be some season tickets left for the remaining games.
Call these guys and ask at the athletic ticket office. (540) 231-6731
As for the normal process. There is no minimum but you must do ate to the Hokie Club. There is no guarantee as season tickets were offered to the members based on donation levels. Highest to lowest. In the past decade, you needed to be somewhere in the silver Hokie Range. The past 2 years it was any Hokie Club member.
If you want more than 4, you need to be at least Gold Hokie level to get up to 6 IIRC.
Even at Gold Hokie, I think only four are guaranteed together.
So, some buddies of mine & I just had this conversation. I've had season tickets for 2 years. We don't donate a thing (other than 5 years of tuition). In Spring of 2013, I bought season tickets off of hokietickets.com. We got a letter this year in the mail asking us to re-up & go on-line one day last May (I think it was May) to pick out our seats if we wanted the same ones. We did. I love our seats (section 23, directly under the student section). Unless things change, which I hope they won't, I plan to do the exact same thing next year.
Thanks guys!
Anyone else get a call from Tech today? I missed the call and they didn't leave a voicemail, but props to Whit (or whoever else) for recognizing that today would be a perfect day for a fan to donate or buy season tickets.
