Lots of good football slated for today, and lots of bad blood to go around. Clemson is up on the Cocks at the half, UGA is fumbling their way into being tied with the Bees, and UK and Louisville are duking it out during the game after duking out it before the game (and apparently ESPN is reporting that Bobby Petrino shoved a UK assistant? classy).
Leave your thoughts here on the games you're watching.
Oh, and did you know that the Iron Bowl is today? I thought I heard ESPN mention something last night, or today, or something...

Petrino was at least holding on the guys jacket while yelling at him, he picture is making the rounds.
Yep, here we go:
It actually looks to me like he shoves a player, then grabs the coach who confronted him after.

Bryn -This old thing?
iPad Not letting me post tweets correctly this morning.
here's another
Lots of close games. UGA-GT tied at 14 late in the 3rd, Mich-OSU tied at 21 midway through the 3rd.
ACC update: NC State up 28-0 on UNC late in the 3rd.
JT Barrett down with a leg injury after getting squished by two D-linemen. That looked ugly.
Hope the kid is okay. Seems like Barrett is a good kid.
It's weird, I spent my entire life hating tOSU and then I went to the game at the Horseshoe, was treated awesomely all weekend by their fans and Columbus, and now can't make myself root against them unless it were to directly benefit us. I want to see them make the playoffs and win it all. Would be fun to be the National Champion from the first ever playoff's only loss.
Their fans were for the most part classy to me as well. The only "unsportsmanlike" (if that) I got was the night before I was walking downtown in a VT shirt and some student mumbled under his breath "Haa, BOLD" as I walked by. I actually laughed tho, so it was all good.
And is it just me, but does Barrett look a lot like MV7 in the face?
Having lived in Ohio for 7 years until this past March MOST OSU alumni students are decent fans. The "townies" which in Ohio is everyone else in the whole state can be aholes.
Looks like Barrett out for season.
Great sportsmanship by Gardner to come check on him before they carted him off. Michigan-OSU is one of the most heated rivalries, so it's nice to see that.
If anyone remembers, Jones the qb is the one who tweeted about coming to school to play football not play classes.
GT went ahead of UGA, late in the 4th
Some very special special teams on the ensuing kickoff. GT could ice it here.
GT gets a crazy "onside" kick.
GT fumble upheld on review. No icing the game, now UGA has life with 2:36 to go.
Looks like the GT fumble just cost them the game. TD UGA, 24-21 with 0:18 left.
Not so fast my friend.. in my best Corso voice
Georgia Tech QB cost his team 10 points.
Feel bad for the ACC because that would have been a nice win
Don't feel bad for Johnson
I stand corrected. 53-yard FG for GT to tie it. Going to OT.
That was insane.
That's about as perfect as a field goal gets. Straight down the middle.
My reverse jinx worked!!!
Hell of a kick by that Jacket
GT with a TD in OT, but the extra point is blocked. 30-24 GT.
GT ends the game with an INT. Two losing streaks ended today - Clemson beat USCe and now GT over UGA.
The important winning streak, however, continued. 11 straight!
Dabo and CPJ both make their fan bases much more satisfied. Kind of sad, wonder what kind heat they would have felt if they had lost to the rivals again.
GT may have helped our chances with recruits considering UGA if this was a nail in the coffin type loss for Mark Richt. The SEC folks are crazy enough to fire a guy for a 9 win season.
I may have to reconsider my views on PJ/GT.
EDIT: But not Mark Richt or Mike Bobo
Louisville finally putting Kentucky away.. so far so good ACC vs SEC
ACC about to go 3-0 vs. the #BESCTCONFERENCEEVERSEC
Is it still possible for the SEC to get shut out of the playoffs this year?
A win by Ole Miss and Auburn today along with Mizzou winning the SECCG might do it, assuming FSU and Oregon win
The wrinkle might be a loss by OSU to MSU in the B1G CG next week.
With Barrett out the chances of that happening just went way up.
I think OSU will be playing the Wisconsin/Minnesota winner.. but your overall point still stands
With Clem, Louis, and GT all winning, we need FSU to finish the sweep
Meh. I'm happy with those three wins. Go Gators.
Aside from the perception value to the ACC, doesn't FSU participation in the playoffs and subsequent champ game mean more money for the conference and therefore more money for VT?
Yes
VT doesn't need more money as long as Pete is around, we have an endless supply of coupons to offset any financial loss
Sounds like science to me.
Regardless... Go Noles...
Pulling for an SEC-free playoff and all the glorious, impotent rage it would cause - especially from Bristol.
This is true. Also, my hatred for FSU transcends money.
Oh my goodness is anyone else seeing what USCw is doing to ND? 35-0 before halftime
Yeah ND has really collapsed, were in the top 10 at one point.
ND will always find themselves ranked in the top 10 at one point during the season. Their loss against FSU looked impressive, as it was so close, until FSU started doing that every game.
Just got a notification that Watson from Clemson played with a torn ACL. Um, wow.
Jeeze..
Look at stoudt's stats though, ugly
Yeah that should say something about Dabo's trust in Stoudt
Stoudt is terrible. Maybe chad Kelly was right.
If Florida had a half decent QB they'd be winning this game
I wonder if "the hat" will give credit to NC State, or blame that ass whooping on his teams short comings.
No team is good enough to stop UNC. Heck, even the NCAA gives them a pass for the worst cheating scandal in history, because it's an "academic matter" but nail FSU for players cheating in online classes along with 1,000's of other students, completely independent of the athletic dept & tutors.
Could this day be going any worse for the SEC? 4 losses to the lowly ACC, and ole Miss just beat Mississippi State. Hopefully Auburn can finish off perhaps the worst day in sec history. War Eagle!
That's why I was rooting for FSU. I wanted that sweep.
Please someone else say they saw Saban yelling at Kiffin like a father with his 12 yo and the look on Kiffin's face and he just shrugged his shoulders. Priceless.
Yep, saw that.
Saban: "DAMMIT LANE. We only scored one touchdown on that play. WHY DIDN'T WE SCORE TWO TOUCHDOWNS? ARE YOU A BLITHERING IDIOT?"
Bama is in trouble haha
I love rooting against them.
If auburn wins, the SEc wheel of doom will be nearly complete!
Miami is kindly helping Pitt reach bowl eligibility
*checks watch*
Nope, Miami still isn't back.
33-21 Auburn just 4-mins into the 2nd half
Alabama better check in with their hairdresser because they're looking like crap right now.
Miami looks like a team where the coach has lost the locker room.
Needs to be said on Twitter under the handle Canes574335
Miami always mails it in after they are knocked out of the ACC division race!
I haven't seen an Iron Bowl this good in 364 days.
Derrick Henry and TJ Yeldon are making Auburn's defense look like the worst in the country. Nothing can stop them!
I hope one day everyone will say that about ours. buck fama
Yeah, I can see Shai McKenzie and Marshawn Williams getting to that level.
ONE JOB AUBURN, ONE JOB!
Right?
Ah, well... it was a nice dream while it lasted. Fun game at least.
ESPN gave Bama 2 of Auburn's points accidentally haha
There's always Mizzou.
Ugh, this ESPN "reporter" Maria Taylor is horrid. She's asking the dumbest questions, even by sideline reporter post-game standards. Even Saban said, "I don't know what that means."
I think she's also the one that called us "Virginia State" during the trophy presentation after that crap bowl against Rutgers.
I am enjoying how ESPN keeps saying the ACC won all of the games against the SEC EAST. Then explain it away as they only beat the crappy teams.
