I'm in the process of upgrading the content management system (CMS) that runs the site. I hope to have this done by sometime in the summer so we can all test the heck out of it before the season begins. As part of the update I need to recode the current theme, and come up with a new mobile design. If anyone wants to get creative and redesign the current layout, come up with a mobile one, or try their hand at making a new banner I'd be interested in potentially using it. I can't pay for any work done, but I can credit you on the about section of the site and say nice things if you need a reference. I'm not guaranteeing I'll use anything anyone comes up with either. Post designs and/or banners here, and feel free to ask questions on specifics.

I would help. However, I consider successfully posting a GIF in less than three attempts cause for celebration, so it's probably a little out of my wheelhouse.

The current banner is 1060x164, but you're not beholden to that if you want to propose any sort of design change. As long as it looks pretty I'd be fine with going from a wide rectangle banner to small square logo.
What about for mobile?

I think it would look cool if you gave the "The Key Play" a white and orange border instead of the current black one.

Change the hand/keys. It is too cartoony for the rest of the header, which are real photos. Use it for the icon next to the http? Use a real hand with real keys - contest for the best photo.
Or totally change it all.
Y'know - the font + the stars + the fist kind of makes it look a little...communisty.
