And Erick Green is on it. No surprise. Hopefully he can win POTY tomorrow.
All-ACC first team: #Hokies Erick Green, #UVA's Joe Harris, Duke's Mason Plumlee, Miami's Shane Larkin and N.C. State's Richard Howell.— Norm Wood (@normwood) March 11, 2013
I think the POTY race comes down to 3 players: Green, Larkin, and Plumlee. Do I think Plumlee should be there? No. But he plays for Duke. What do you guys think? Can he win it?

You my boy Green!
This would be one of the most terrifying starting fives I've ever seen haha.
If you're looking at just the player, Erick should be the hands down favorite to win the award for statistical reasons discussed in previous posts. Once you take into account that he plays for a cellar dweller, and that a guy from Duke is nominated as well, it almost certainly signals that Erick won't win it.
I'd really like to see Shane Larkin win it, though. I am (like most of us) sick of seeing everything go to either Duke or UNC every year. It's just sickening to think about. Larkin deserves to win it because he's been the best player on a team that no one thought would contend the way they did.

A surprise to see Howell up there just because he is sometimes overlooked on that team, but I think the rest of the team is just what everyone thought it would be.
If the Hokies were .500 in the league then there is no doubt Green would get it, but because we are flat out awful this year, it will probably be Plumlee.
