I would feel much better if Wayne had Tech as his number one favorite. Even after defeat OSU is competing with Tech. Maybe they'll give up after another loss.
Recruits don't care about individual wins and losses like that
Only LOLUVA recruits so we can see how that works out
If he says it's in no order, then does it matter that tech isn't #1?
Dickerson
Tino
Haskins
Kumah
Valentin
Davis
We need to get at least 4 of these guys
Haskins, Kumah, Valentin, and Tino seem to be trending our way right now at the very least. Hopefully we wrap things up with Kumah tomorrow. Decent chance with the other two, IMO, but a long, long way to go.
I suspect Davis goes elsewhere (OSU), but I don't really have any evidence to support that. Seems like it's been a two team battle for a long time now.
I trust us to find a value CB elsewhere if Davis goes OSU. Obviously I want him, but he isn't a huge need like the OL or playmakers
Only one of his top 3 is DBU, nuff said.
Looks like some BIG competition
I was about to ask which UM that was. Thanks.
I see him choosing anOSU
maybe I'm the only one, but what does the "an" by anOSU mean? Been driving me crazy not knowing
We're mocking them. They are adamant about being THE Ohio State University, and call it tOSU. It was pointed out on our boards before last year's game that there are, in fact, several Universities that reside in the state of Ohio, so in fact "tOSU" is just one of many, therefore "AN Ohio State University," viz. anOSU.
Here in Pac-12 country, OSU is regarded as Oregon State University and I'm sure in the Texas are OSU is Oklahoma State University...just sayin
That is because they are just OSU's, as opposed to being THE OSU.
Hey man, are you going to stay around after the game, or will your time here be up? In general, I enjoy your posts and it's good getting a buckeyes perspective without having to go to 11warriors every time.
I'll probably drop in but less frequently. I've enjoyed my time here and get the VT perspective as well.
Thanks, thats what I thought. It does drive me crazy when they do say THE Ohio State University too. I love the fact that their chant is "O-H.... I-O" and doesn't include the "State" in it.
Well it is an official part of our name when the legislature changed us from Ohio A&M to THE Ohio State University. I must admit, however, it is fun to accent the THE, especially when talking with fans of TSUN.
As for O H I O; well you guys seem to regularly leave out the and State University...
Funny story there. I went to a wake forest game in college. They'd have half their stadium yell "wake" and the other half would respond "forest". So me and my friend (sitting in a wake alum section because that's where our scalped tickets landed us) started "virginia" ..."polytechnicinstituteandstateuniversity" We were cracking up but got some weird looks
Good for you. One of my favorite tOSU moments was in Dubai. i had just ended a day teaching a class where I was wearing a scarlet and gray bow tie (tl;dr it takes a special type of courage to tie and wear a real bowtie vs. a clip on) and ran into some Buckeyes wearing tOSU hats so I yelled OH to get IO in return, to confused looks from the rest of the expats in the hotel lobby.
Later, at the bar, I was rocking (to no success), my Bond, James Bond look complete with open bow tie...
Attended a VT vs loluva basketball game many years ago in Roanoke. The uva fans were, as usual, outnumbered by Hokies, and every time they would try to get their U_V_A! chant going, we'd yell "sucks" in the space between the chants. We were so loud it became counterproductive for them. They tried it a few times and finally just gave up. Don't remember who won, just remember that chant and how much fun we had with it. Well, that and the fact that after the game, talking to a friend across the street as we walked back to our cars, I walked full tilt into a telephone pole. But I digress....
Those posts, I tellya, sometimes they seem to just seek you out.

Like they just jump right in front of you. Weird.
That's funny. Not sure what his excuse was, mine was mostly inattention...well mostly, anyway. I did get a splinter in my cheek, though, to remember the game by.
Edit: Like my wife would ever let me forget walking into a telephone pole.
Edit: Ever.
well, technically, we leave out the "Poly...nic Institute and State University"
It became popular when Dayton beat Ohio State in basketball a few years back.
Basketball? What is that?
He has to know Fuller is going pro and Facyson not far behind. Clark is an upperclassman. There's definitely room at DBU for the next stud or 2. I like our chances.
I think he is VT.
I don't think he sticks at CB though - more of a safety imo. Not the best man to man cover guy imo.
But a good pickup if we grab him.
So, any news on how the visit went?
Still on campus
It's weird. He just keeps following around our wide receivers all over campus, knocking stuff out of their hands that they try to grab.
reminds me of the office linebacker.
