First off, man it feels good to be back on TKP. Been away while interning here in Charlotte but I'm finally getting back into TKP groove.
As far as the commit, Philip Patterson? Saw he was announcing August 1st and he could have filled the coaches in on his decision.
Doubt they would leak his commit like that with a scheduled commit date but maybe he didn't feel like waiting until Saturday.
Could also be Divine Deablo. Been reading a lot of stories about him loving the atmosphere at VT.

Dredrick Snelson, Jr. Interestingly enough, it looks as though he was once a Miami commit, similar to Dwayne Lawson. He also projects to end up at FSU or Clemson on some of the recruiting boards, but given the comments he made to Alex + his tweets posted by Joe, I'm going with him. Would be a terrific grab, this time last year he was considered a top-3 WR...nationally for his class. Either way, exciting to see Hokie Nation grow.
He said today he is taking an official to Minnesota in October, so it will be awhile before his decision most likely.

That would be great however with his red flags I think they may wait to see what Deablo, Ellis and Holloway do. Remember we already have 2 WR commits.

Goes to show you those "professionals" aren't always as in the loop as they like to think. 70% predicted him to UNC on 247 and only 10% to the good guys.
That's not totally accurate. On the free stuff yes that's how it looked. However this has been building all day. Evan wrote a piece earlier about him and how we wowed him. On another message board he has been the topic of conversation all day.
Well that's recruiting for you. Things change that fast. But up until now VT had not been considered a favorite by those that follow it professionally
Yeah, you've gotta know who to pay attention to. Evan Watkins CB'd him to VT a while ago and he tends to be the best at that for us. JC Shurburtt missed on this one though- normally he's pretty good.
D. Law to Diablo has a nice ring to it. Great pick up.
