And does it matter that he hurt it not playing football for VT.
He's still on scholarship, and it benefits VT a whole heck of a lot more to get him adequate medical treatment than to let him just fend for himself and hope for the best. A few grand here won't seem like much if Exum picks off Boyd to seal a win in the ACCCG and head to the BCS. Just sayin.
Both of his parents are doctors, so I doubt he would have trouble paying for the expenses if needed, too.
If you're suggesting he has health insurance, I'd agree. But I think medical bills for ACL surgery (especially from James Andrews) would be too expensive even for doctors to pay out of pocket.

Haha yeah, Dr. Seigal did mine (VT team doctor) and it was like 36k without insurance and I was told that was expensive compared to others. I would hope your insurance covered more than half.
If I recall, the price before insurance was in the 32k range. And I was fortunate enough to have a surgeon that was the orthopedic of multiple US World Cup teams, so that may have been why. And the 16k number included rehab as well, which mr exum doesn't have to cover
Interesting he said he previously hurt it against Cincinnati, at Fedex Field. The same Fedex that tore a couple more players ACL's......
Very good point, and may I add that Cincy was by far his worst game of the season. To speculate, Foster knew he was hurt, and that's why he came out fired up when he talked to the media and delivered his "played his nuts off" speech in defense of Exum.

Thanks. Just photoshop. Found the old Centaur pic and replaced the face. The treadmill was actually tough cause no one takes photos of treadmills that way so i had to paint someone out of it. it isn't my best work but fun none the less. Having a tough time replace the girls face with Saban's daughter though...very limited online pics and all are straight on.
