I just wanna see us return to the solid ground attack we've come to love and expect from our Hokies.

That is going to awhile. My biggest concern right now is none of the tailbacks have separated himself from the rest. Coleman got banged up, and Edmunds still runs upright. One thing about Edmunds though, he won't make it easy to bring him down, because he keeps his legs churning. I am still not convinced that Holmes is the go-to back. He already pulled the wool over my eyes once, and fool me once...

I think Shane got his work cut out for him.

I support Logan Thomas and make no apologies for it.

Well, it's sounding like Holmes is much-improved this year, but I definitely agree: I'll believe it when I see it in a real game (a TD or two and 100 yards rushing against Bama would be pretty convincing). And a little nick on the hip really isn't much to be concerned about. No matter how big/small you are, a shot on the right spot can hurt, but it shouldn't be too bad. Final note: I really just want to see Shane holding a sword at chest height during some of the RB drills. That should get Trey running lower.

Holmes definitely needs to be less hesitant during games. But the line needs to give every back a chance to make the play.
