Andy, first off, I love your blog and it always brings good insight and info. Who is your favorite person to interview, coach and player? I feel Exum might be it but I've always been curious.

Exum is very entertaining. And he knows how to interact with the media and give good answers. Of the current crop of players, I'd say he's it. David Wilson and Bruce Taylor were like that too. Although we haven't talked to him much this spring, Jack Tyler will be one as well.

Thanks! It's too bad you can't get Wilson and Exum in an interview together, that would be pretty awesome.

hey andy, first off we really appreciate all the hard work and you dropping by. the question i have is how would you say stiney is adjusting to his new role? do he and loeffler seem comfortable around one another? i know it must have been hard on his ego to take the demotion he did. i haven't heard a ton out of him this spring and was wondering if you had noticed a difference with how he interacts with the players and his fellow coaches.

You know, Stiney was the one coach we didn't request this spring, just because tight ends are so low on the priority list and we only have so many opportunities to request guys. Just from watching the scrimmage, Stiney seems to hang back a little bit more. Maybe not as vocal in the team periods, which is understandable, since he's no longer the OC. But I don't sense that there's any problem there.

I have a feeling our defensive secondary will be very dangerous this season.

I've seen Exum over in the basketball practice facility and he seems to still walk gingerly but he does look like he is progressing pretty well. He was talking to Erick Green the other day which was quite the site to see.
