According to a recent ESPN insider article they have Michigan listed as "In the Driver's Seat" and have Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina listed as "Other Candidates." They do mention us as a potential dark horse though...but come on, really?
Hand raved about his visit to Michigan, and it seems as though the Wolverines have positioned themselves well with the No. 4-ranked prospect. He has said he would like to keep everyone in suspense, but Michigan has a secret weapon. Mattison has been personally recruiting Hand, and the two have developed an excellent relationship. Plenty can happen between now and his decision, though, so it should be fun to watch who grabs the outstanding lineman.
Obviously take it with half a grain of salt. It is ESPN recruiting news after all. Just though it was interesting how different they feel about his recruitment.

It's borderline criminal that, by virtue of having TV coverage, casual fans base their perception of draft classes on what ESPN says. I mean they have the consensus number one player in the class as their #4 prospect. They hype up the relationship he has with this Michigan coach even though Hand has said that Foster is his favorite DC. Their football recruiting services are an absolute joke.
I am somewhat nervous about Hand, but it's only because of Michigan.
ESPN...LOL. That is the same enterprise that employs Heather Dinich.

I've always viewed the ESPN sphere as a medium for watching sporting events first, and its analysis as a tertiary role.
Hand's flying the flag today though.
looks good in those colors
I mean he is even pimping the right pants. If you check his twitter feed you will notice his friend is all decked out in VT gear too.
