Hopefully he's going to be coached by someone that isn't going to let even the microscopic stuff slide. Everyone knows he has the height & speed, it's the consistent effort that was missing. For his sake, I hope he makes the most of this opportunity and proves himself. At the same time, I wonder how far Coach Moorehead would have buried him in the depth chart if he gave the same effort as last year.

I'm liking how my Giants are starting to grab all these Hokies. I think Tweedy is really a steal. Look at how he played this past season when given a shot on defense. And he dominated the opposing return teams. But lest we not forget:

I wonder if the Giants are going to give him that chance to develop? Tweedy might have a better chance to stick because he could be an immediate impact on special teams, and perhaps grow into a backup safety down the road. NFL GMs seem to favor a prospect that can contribute to the team right away, even in a minimal way, and grow into a player down the road.
Either way, best of luck to all the Hokies getting a shot in the NFL.

I'd be shocked if Davis lasts longer than Tweedy. Tweedy is a huge UFA grab, because of his special teams ability. Davis may not even make the final roster due to his anti-maturity. UFAs have to have a blue collar mentality to earn respect and make the team, which is the anti-Davis.

I hope this has lit a fire in him and he rises to the occasion.

Hopefully, some good coaching can take hold. He definitely has some potential.
Coughlin will straighten him out. It will also help that he has Wilson and Hosley on the team. Then he gets to see how Cruz, Hixon, and Nicks do it.
I love it when my college team players become my pro team players...
And Tweedy now, too. But on a related note,
BUBBLE SCREENS FOR EVERYONE!
still kinda makes me frustrated to read how he doesn't know how he fell that far in the draft, clearly hes not there maturity-wise

Marcus Davis, if developed properly, can be dangerous to all opposing defenses.
