Those uniforms are awful.

Those uniforms are awful.

Came here to say that. Really hope we never even so much as consider going adidas.

Every second counts

For those who want us to change from Nike...let this be notice of what we could get.

We put the K in Kwality

Bringing FUGLY to a new level. Or depth. Or whichever one is worse.

My big problem with all new Adidas uniforms is that the numbers end up looking wrinkled from whatever press on material they are using. Also the diamond mesh looking material that keeps showing up on their ucla, louisville and nebraska jerseys. I think its supposed to look "flashy" but it just looks poor quality. The regular ones they use for A&M are fine.
All that aside from the weird script stuff they're doing with louisville.

Nothing says "American Football" like Old English font.

Also, the shiny dark red on shiny black does NOT show up. I still haven't gotten a good look at their logo.

A decade on TKP and it's been time well spent.

I absolutely HATE the font on their jerseys

Shaq lawson looks good though

This game is boring.

I feel like the crowd isn't in it.

Seriously. I remember when FSU was in town a year or two ago and the atmosphere was insane. Seems like the whole crowd is just like, "Oh there's a game going on. How about that?"

"Exit light..."

I am watching youtube..." usa road rage compilation" to make up for the lack of intensity for both of these teams. Clemson being Clemson and Louyvull being young and way overrated.

Okay, I'm paying attention now.

Me too

Yikes, the old peyton manning noodle arm on that 3rd and 11. I'm a sucker for underdogs at home. I find myself cheering for Louisville.

Normally I would, but I'm thinking about the ACC in the long run here. I.e. - the playoffs. There's no way an acc team gets in one loss unless it's us...

but I was kind of banking on that one team being Clemson... But not if they lose to a Louisville team that lost to auburn and Houston.

But who knows, maybe FSU runs the table and reps the ACC again

Edit - maybe GT. But...you know, revenge and all by us.

Agreed, I came in with the intention on wanting clemson to run the table this year until we see them in the ACC ship. I just get caught up in the moment. That missed field goal will help. That right hash will get after ya inside the 25.

We know the coastal will come down to us and GT. I will be there for that game and I hope we have a solution for our linebacker situation at that point. Otherwise that could be a long game. At least they don't have Calvin Johnson.

This is why the playoff in its current iteration bugs me. Louisville is already out. If Clemson loses they are out, but Louisville doesn't gain anything. In terms of the Playoff, this game means nothing for Louisville. It seems silly that Clemson can get knocked out of the race in week 3 by a team that already has no chance.

If the Playoff was a playoff of conference champions, then this game would have real meaning for both teams. Right now Clemson has everything to lose and Louisville has nothing to gain.

Our secondary could eat more than half of the QBs in this conference alive. Watson and Williams from UNC in particular have not impressed me at all so far this year.

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

The biggest problem I have with the Adidas uniforms is how they fit. They look like they are stretched, like stretched to the point where it looks like there is a lot of inconsistency in how the jersey is aligned to the pads from player to player. Something also looks off with the armholes. I definitely agree with everyone else that Adidas uniforms are an eyesore. They try too hard to standout.

Under Armour is #2 in my opinion.

For the sake of the acc, ...we need Clemson to win tonight.

I don't know if it's because TKP is my most-visited site, but it seems whenever I'm searching for VT Football-related anything, TKP shows up 90% of the results.

A decade on TKP and it's been time well spent.

Suspended kicker? I thought we were the only team that's had that problem.

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

Good lord, thank god they kicked it.

OT: peyton is really struggling this year. Hasn't thrown a touchdown yet, but he has thrown two pick 6s.

To the dude with his body painted black with just a bird hat on: D - poor effort

What in the hell did Clemson just run?

Samuel's got some jets.

I was thinking that too until they showed the dude running him down that outweighed him by at least 40 lbs. David Wilson wouldnt have been touched.

Check that spot! Thank you

Edit: I'm just going to ignore that facemask penalty

"What are you going to do, stab me? - Quote from Man Stabbed

They're going for it...I bet

Edit - guess not

Damn, I thought they would too.

"What are you going to do, stab me? - Quote from Man Stabbed

Clempson got robbed on the non-call face mask penalty

Clemson had some big calls not go their way. Oh well, got the W

Ugh

That crowd just sprung to life

Fantastic heads up play by the Louisville QB

Edit: Not that it mattered at all in the end. That Clemson pass rush is deadly.

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

What a letdown of a finish

I am now sober after that.

Seriously, this is twice in three weeks that petrinos squad has acted clueless when the clock is ticking.

Mike London much Louisville? How do you not get a field goal attempt?

"What are you going to do, stab me? - Quote from Man Stabbed

Exactly -- they burned their last TO before the Clemson punt, when the clock was already stopped. And then, yea, how do you fall apart like that after getting into FG range with 30 seconds left. Horrible, horrible, horrible clock mgt by Louisville at the end. Inexcusable not to at least get a FG attempt out of that.

Virginian by Birth, Hokie by Choice

Absolutely horrible play calling at the end to not roll the pocket so the QB can just toss it out of bounds if he's about to get sacked. And how the hell did Louisville only have one receiver deep in the game ending Hail Mary? Petrino feel apart worse than the Bluesmobile.

Wouldn't they have wound the clock on 4th down if they didn't call the timeout, though? The previous play was a run. The clock was only stopped for a measurement and review.

You're correct. Louisville taking the time out was the right call. But then they dodged a bullet on the bad snap, and failed to dodge another when the QB took a sack. It honestly looked like Petrino had never practiced a two minute drill.

Then they should have called it directly after the run. They let at least 15-20 seconds run off.

"What are you going to do, stab me? - Quote from Man Stabbed

They reset the game clock to put that time back on right before the snap, I thought.

"I liked you guys a lot better when everybody told you you were terrible." -Justin Fuente

Did anyone go back and look at the sack before the last play? In real time it looked as though the QB for Louisville was outside the pocket, not down and threw the ball beyond the line of scrimmage. The whole last minute and a half was a disaster on both sides.

Well, it's not like Louisville deserved to have the ball that last possession. How the refs missed that facemask call on the 3rd down Watson keeper is beyond me.

In Sam Rogers we trust.
