Well folks, it looks like 24 is coming back for a limited run season. I am freakin pumped, I need some Jack Bauer back in my life. Naturally, the question everybody is wondering is if the VT coaching staff was cast for 24, who would they play? I offer my humble suggestions below. Feel free to let me know what you think.
Frank Beamer is Bill Buchanan
As the man in charge of CTU, all agents, including Jack Bauer, report to Bill. Bill listens to the opinions of everybody on his staff and is responsible for making the decisions that are best for CTU. Similarly, Frank has multiple opinions to listen to, and it is up to him to chart the best course for the Hokies.
Bud Foster is Jack Bauer

I mean, would you want to run into either Bud or Jack in a dark alley? Just one stare from either of them and I would be telling them everything I know. If they start yelling at me, forget it. I'd need to change my pants immediately.
Scot Loeffler is Curtis Manning
Just as Loeffler's job is to run the offense, Manning was the point man for CTU's attack teams. He led CTU agents as they apprehended many terrorists. Let's just hope that Loeffler can lead an attack half as well as Curtis.
Shane Beamer is Tony Almeida
Basically the #2 agent at CTU, Tony is often regarded on par with Jack Bauer. Already accomplished before he joined CTU, Tony is hungry to prove himself. In a different world, it would be a tight competition between Tony and Jack to take over CTU when Bill retired.
Bryan Stinespring is Kim Bauer
No matter how hard they try, people just don't like them.
Jeff Grimes is Aaron Pierce
As head of the Secret Service, it was Pierce's job to protect the President. Grimes has the task of molding the offensive line into a unit that can protect the quarterback from Nick Saban's assassins.
Aaron Moorehead is Chase Edmunds

A young, up and coming agent, Edmunds took the opposite path as Moorehead, moving from CTU Washington out west to CTU Los Angeles. No word on if Edmunds is friends with CM Punk.
Torian Gray is Tom Lennox
Coach Gray dabbles in offense and defense by coaching the secondary and also serving as the passing game coordinator. Likewise, Tom Lennox executed a successful offensive gameplan by convincing David Palmer to run for President. At the same time, he demonstrated his defensive prowess by showing he was willing to circumvent the Constitution to defend the country.
Charley Wiles is Ethan Kanin
As Secretary of Defense for President Palmer, Ethan Kanin was America's first line of defense. As defensive line coach for the Hokies, Coach Wiles is responsible for Tech's first line of defense (the defensive line, get it?)
Cornell Brown is Allison Taylor
President Taylor was a true idealist. Anybody that follows Coach Brown on Twitter knows that he too is an idealist. Note: Instagram was not around when Taylor was in office.
Billy Hite is Chloe O'Brian
Chloe is smart, fiercely loyal, and the most trusted analyst at CTU. Chloe is Bill Buchanan's primary go-to, just as Hite is Beamer's right hand man.
So what do you think? I was going to try to do this for all the coaches in the ACC, but there were just too many terrorists to narrow down parts for Paul Johnson and Mike London.

Comments
My understanding is that Gray is the Passing Game Coordinator for the Defense and Loeffler handles the offensive side of the passing game. Its a little confusing because of the terminology used, but if you look at the roster page on HokieSports both Grimes and Wiles are listed as Running Game Coordinators, which leads me to think that Wiles Coordinates the Run Defense, Gray the Pass Defense, Grimes the Running Offense, and Loeffler the Passing Offense.
Otherwise pretty good, granted that my knowledge of 24 is limited to the episodes I've been around for when other people were watching.
I don't like that in this Lefty will end up dead and Shane will betray his country...
haha, well i am certainly open for suggestions
Maybe you just need asterisks to denote that they are only those characters before future seasons were created!
Excellent work!
Yep, this is definitely Bud
Could we maybe get a take on them with "Archer" or maybe "Venture Brothers"? Because, let's face it, we're a bunch of adolescent children here who have the freedom to watch late-night cartoons with terse language. Maybe (for Mr. Hokie Wartooth) a "Metalocalypse" breakdown...
...August can't get here fast enough.
Archer is one of those shows I've been meaning to watch, but just haven't gotten around to yet. I am a fan of the Venture Bros though.
August really can't get here fast enough, and summer hasn't even started yet.
If an Archer one was done:

Doesn't Kim Bauer get kidnapped at some point? Why couldn't that have happened to Stiney?
She was kidnapped 3 times on Day 1
Days 1, 2, and 4 were some of the best television ever. Everything else was above-average, but I enjoyed those 3 seasons the most.
