Worked out well for the gumps.

Every second counts

Yea,should be an iterating top 10 this week. I'm not sure we, Ohio State, will stay #1 after our ugly win. TCU will be at least #2. LSU will probably jump as will ND. Of course, nothing matters till December...

Good game vs Purdue.

Yeah come on. We really need you guys to look good the rest of the season or our SOS will take a hit. If you start choking and go 6-6, we'll never get into the playoffs short of winning our conference championship game by 60. /s

No need to exaggerate, I think we can get by with a 59 point margin.

That would be a heck of a replay from last year, with you playing the OSU role and us the VT role.

Michigan State is #2. Ole Miss moved into the top 5. LSU is on the top 10. ND moved up 1 I think. We only gained 3 votes from last week I believe.

Not surprised MSU #2 even though I expected TCU. A bit surprised at us but then again if you win style points don't count. Could setup a 1 vs 2 matchup on the 21st of November.
We need to get our offense sorted out by then or it could be brutal. I'm hoping it's just inexperience on our O-Line that will fix itself as the season progresses.

I think if you guys win out and win the ACC you'll be in, and deservedly so. The story will be you lost to OSU close, the #1 team (assuming we win out) with your starting QB out and still won out.
On a side note, I wonder if Saban will shill for MSU for the playoffs if we beat them since they lost to the #1 team? After all, wasn't that his argument for Bama a few years back?

The only thing I disagree with is that the voters don't think we "lost close" to you all. The narrative I keep hearing is that you all took the 2nd quarter off and then got it together after the half. Either way, a 1 loss ACC champ should make it into the playoffs.

Most of those people also seem to forget we were driving with the ball in OSU territory when we lost Brewer.

Either way, a 1 loss ACC champ should make it into the playoffs.

Not sure that's true. It's looking likely given that 3 of 4 potential PAC-12 champs have a loss, and the SEC is looking like they'll beat up on each other (I don't see LSU winning out without using their qb, Ole Miss may have a shot though). That being said, I don't think the SEC will be left out of the playoff. B10 and B12 could have an undefeated champ. Notre Dame could mess up everything for the ACC champ. ND has a tough schedule, so I think 1 loss ND gets in over 1 loss ACC team (unless said 1 loss ACC has a win over them).

inexperience on our O-Line that will fix itself as the season progresses.

Didn't you guys return 4 starters from last years O-line that was supposed to be the best in the country? Not sure how that qualifies as inexperienced.

I believe he was talking about last year's OL, which was very young.

That would make more sense. Just the way he said it in the present tense made it sound like he was talking about this year.

There is nothing better than Alabama losing on primetime...other than a Hokie win and Hotpockets.

Not sure if 1:30 AM still qualified as primetime...

Was anyone else surprised by how completely incompetent Alabama's offense looked when it was under the gun to operate quickly? I honestly don't think they practice the hurry-up at all in Tuscaloosa.

because Saban believes that the HUNH offense is the Debil

Onward and upward

Lane Kiffin will be the death of Saban. Literally I think he will give him an aneurism. Bama should be running the ball 80% of the time with their OL and RBs they have.

Also I love how Saban has a team running the hurry up when he was outspokenly against it for "player safety". Further proves that man has no soul.
