I have an idea for a video that I plan to make my masterpiece.
I want to make a ~10 min highlight video that includes the best football plays and moments from the last 20 years. It will have a slower dramatic tone so I plan to use a score similar to Sail by AWOLNATION:
I will need help from TKP community since I have only followed VT football for about 10 years. I want to know what everyone's favorite Tech Football moments are, especially pre-1999 moments. I got a lot of great feedback from the powerhour thread but since I don't have to fill a full minute for each play or 'moment' I can really load this thing.
It helps a ton when you list the year and opponent...basically as much detail as you can to help me locate the specific play.

Lots of other great moments, but these are the ones that really stand out in my mind. Sorry, though, I can't help with anything pre-1999. Started in Hokietown in Fall 2000.
As far as music, I can't think of anything that is recent, but the intro to Amadeus is a very dramatic composition. I usually hear hip hop associated with football videos. Haven't heard a classical track before. Might bore people after 10 minutes.

Jim Druckenmiller's comeback vs UVA is a must
Before I started following VT, but I saw highlights of this game in some compilation a long time ago. 22 points in the fourth quarter against #13 UVa (say what?) for the win in Charlottesville. Awesome.
not a play, but a song that could possibly work depending on the length of the video (song slows down in a couple spots) and what exactly you are trying to do with it but Radioactive by Imagine Dragons.

The dark knight rises ending credits or explosions in the sky by Yasmin the light( theme from the movie Friday night lights). Also highlights should include Cornell browns sack against wvu and all the block punts by kein carpenter!

As for songs, I'm a sucker for Spirit in the Sky by Norman Greenbaum when it comes to college football, at least for the intro or something.
Go back to that thread from a couple months ago for the VT moments bracket. Most of those were football anyway.

If possible, can you use Radioactive by imagine dragon for #beatbama pump up? I think it's a perfect song for that.
I have actually thought of all of the highlights for that pump up song, but I don't have all of the videos, or I would have made one myself.
Radioactive has been overused already. It's already used in 4 different commercials, one of them being breaking Amish....

1996 season. Rutgers maybe. Back when VT used to run the option, Jim Druckenmiller pitches the ball, turns, decks a linebacker. hammer meets nail. Another great moment is when Druck sets the power clean record (I think) and the weigh room goes nuts. This was showed this during TV broadcast. Yes, I love me some Druck.
