30 TDs and 3 INTs? How is that even possible?

You're accurate and the defense is terrified of Eddie Lacey.

Saban confiscates a pet or cherished item from every player under the condition they must perform well, to have it returned after each season.

I'm pretty sure that beat writer nearly said every player on Bama's roster was "projected in the first round." Quite frankly, Mel Kiper's draft projections are the dumbest thing ever. You never know what will happen on draft day or how a player will perform this Fall, who will get hurt, or who will throw it all away with an arrest of some sort. Nearly as dumb as pre-season rankings.

I'm kind of inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt on those first round projections at this point.

This time last year, LT3 was in the top 5 picks. Even before the draft EJ Manuel wasn't thought to be seen anywhere in the first round. All they are is something to talk about and to give someone the ability to say "well he's going to be a first round pick this year so he's the greatest ever."

Yes, but the fact that they have 3 linebackers with first round talent/potential is saying something. Quarterbacks are by far the most fluid so I take Logan dropping with a grain of salt.

Alabama has had 11 first-round picks in the last three years, so it's not really exaggerating.

Not saying that they don't produce guys for the first round, just that their beat writer mentioned 5 guys that are first round picks. They had a talented team last year and produced 3 first round picks. They had 2 in 2010 and 4 each in 2011 and 2012. 5 first rounders from one school is currently the record held by Miami and USC I believe.

maybe we could get into a philosophical debate about whether anything can be truly known.

If UVA plays well at their spring game but no one is there to see it does it really happen?

Agreed, HokieHi. However, given the recent history of both schools (and knowing full well what has happened with our offense since forever), I understand Logan's drop off.

It says that Hubbard is projected as a first-rounder as an OLB, and that the other two are Kiper's top two ILB's, not necessarily that they are projected in the first round. So, it could be anywhere between 3 and 5 total first-round projections, I don't know since I'm not going to give him the hits.

Bitter should have followed up question 4 with, "Is that guy's real name HaHa? No way right. Right?"
