I've visited ECU plenty of times, my best friend graduated from there. Their fans have little to no class, and that includes the women. Also, my friend admits that the girls are nothing special, considering the Carolina reputation that proceeds them.
Edit: That being said, I will still be there for our game next season.

i have a good friend who graduated from ecu as well and he told me while he pulls for ecu he'll never be a full on "irate pirate" because of the way he's seen ecu fans treat opposing fans. he's a life long hoo and he was with us in charlotte in 2008. he didnt say much after the blocked punt but he definitely had a smirk on his face the whole way back to the car.

Their fans are pretty terrible. I have been to every Tech-ECU game since Charlotte in 2008 and therefore have some pretty good stories that show the true character of their students.

the funniest one we had was after the game walking back, some ecu fan jumped into one or our other friends face who was wearing tech gear and yelled "AAARRRRGGHH!!" our buddy, who i dare say is a bad man, told him, "you're gonna get your fuckin teeth knocked out doin that shit!" that pirate dude made a beeline out of there and didnt look back. it was classic.

Similar story, not of a friend of mine, but a lone Hokiefan that was seated about 10 rows in front of me in the ECU student section at the game my senior year. I saw him talking trash back and forth with the ButtPirates around him all game but at one point I guess the fans had crossed the line. I say this because a ton of commotion breaks out down in front of me and when I looked down I see the kid had ripped his shirt off and was yelling at the fans around him. He wasn't a gigantic dude, but about 6 foot and definitely someone I wouldn't want to mess with. Needless to say everything died down and it didn't look like any fans were giving him crap for the rest of the game.

We need more games with Wisc/OSt. I'd LOVE a continuing series with Nebraska
