(I'm sorry for the mobile link, I'm on a train.)
Alabama vs. Virginia Tech (+17, 48.5)
Virginia Tech at Georgia Tech (+1)
North Carolina at Virginia Tech (-6.5)
Pittsburgh at Virginia Tech (-13.5)
Virginia Tech at Miami (-3.5)
Virginia Tech at Virginia (+10)
Which line, if any, do you think is most "out of whack"? How would you bet your fake Internet dollars?

The one that jumps out at me is to take Pitt to cover.
Exactly. God help us I hope we beat them. But by 14 or more? Doubtful, given the series' recent history...
UVA. Come on, 10? That's just insulting on so many levels.
I get where you're coming from, but we only beat them by three this year. At home. I know we've dominated the series recently, and we've got a few blowouts in the series as well, but looking at last year, I wouldn't bet money on three touchdowns. That's not to say three touchdowns would surprise me either, I just wouldn't bet on it.
Agree on the Pitt game.
I'd also bet on the VT @ GT game. I think the games from the past three years will still be fresh in their memories.
Nesbitt breaking his arm --- David Wilson's game breaking TD
JA (can't spell his name) punching Thomas changing the whole momentum of the game
Last year's close result in Blacksburg.
I expect GT's defense to be improved this year. It was already improving last year after Groh left. Cap that off with a home game... with fan's remembering what Logan Thomas did to them two years previous.
Does anybody know if they'll still use a 3-4?
Nope, switching to a 4-3.
I expect big things from GT this year. There defense will be improved, and PJ finally has a playmaker at QB again. Vad Lee can play.
I'd take the GT game, hands down. I don't think we lose that game with our defense being so damn good. I'd have taken the Bama game at 22.5, but not at 17.
I'm pretty sure this says we are going to win by 1. Correct me if I'm wrong, it took me a couple of seconds to understand this.
Yea, but the only possible result that would lose you a VT bet would be a GT win. It's essentially a pick 'em game with a push at 1.
Is it sad that the first thing I thought of when I read "fake Internet dollars" was this?
No, 09, it shows your appreciation for the fantastic series of South Park
I'd take:
Alabama vs. Virginia Tech (+17, 48.5)
Virginia Tech at Georgia Tech (+1)
North Carolina at Virginia Tech (-6.5)
Pittsburgh at Virginia Tech (-13.5)
Virginia Tech at Miami (-3.5)
Virginia Tech at Virginia (+10)
I think Miami stinks. I was shocked we lost to them last year, but I think we (and a lot of other people) will beat them this year. I also think UVA stinks. UNC and Pitt are well coached and will give us fits, maybe both to beat us. Bama, of course, will beat us, but it won't be embarrassing.
Every time I read the point spread, I go
.
Give me the Miami and Virginia Tech game. It's one game that could go either way. Miami's defense is expected to be improved while their offense reestablish their identity, but they have that running back who was lights out last season. I am sure Virginia Tech would like to atone for that horrible performance off a bye week. The best thing to come out of that game was Logan's Run for 73 yards. Boy was he gassed after that run! I still can't believe he outran the entire Miami's defense.
the whole was wide enough for an actual hurricane to fit through, but yeah he was gassed lol
the bama point spread is insulting, i'll take the points all day long on that one
If the Bama line is actually +17, I really like us to cover that, but only just.
+1 Turkey leg for "I really like... but only just"
Last year I bet some guy on ESPN fake internet money that our basketball team was gonna go undefeated and beat Duke in the national title game. For the first 7 games it looked like I might become an internet millionaire.
