It's stats heavy (but there's a glossary) and Bill Connelly does such a great job weaving in the narrative.

Still, if you're looking for cracks in Alabama's armor, it is at least feasible that the offensive line will be a little bit glitchy after its near-perfection last year. Lacy and Yeldon were almost never touched in the backfield and didn't have to make their first move until past the line of scrimmage. Those are luxuries Yeldon and company won't always have this time around.
This will be a game won in the trenches. The defensive line needs to play better than in any game last season, and the green o-line needs to come of age quickly.

Honestly, running the ball on them is going to be next to impossible. With that said, we still need to stick too it and not rotate backs every drive. I do think our DLine is going to be able to put a significant amount of pressure on AJ though, and that is huge. Seriously though, from reading this article, it sounds like the deep ball is going to be one of our biggest assets. Oh yea, and special teams
From all the ugly we saw at Spring Game, Logan can definitely throw the deep ball. Hopefully Demitri brings his shoes.
It also seems that Logan can fire a dart to Demitri on a skinny post over the middle. Hopefully we'll see him nail that throw time after time during the season.
Strategy question: what can you hit em with when the defense adjusts to cover the skinny post? (Blind guess is #Triangles)
Usually, that means you'll have one-on-one outside, since the safety is more concerned about taking away that skinny post over the middle. Then, it's a question of who's got better speed/ball skills and if Logan can make that throw deep down the sideline, or even a deep (10-12 yard) out or curl, since the corner will be worried about getting beat deep with no safety help.
Cheers
The entire game plan: Pray. Maybe their bus will break down on the way there and they'll have to hitch hike rides to the game.
Game plan is same as always: execute.
I always remember what my OL coach in high school told us..."I want you to be able to run up to the line, look the guy across from you in the eye and be able to tell him where the ball is going, and you to block him well enough that he can't do a daggone thing about it." Preparation (can you say film study? I knew you could!) practice, and flawless execution. Those are the keys.
I thought this thread would have a Katherine Webb pic...

Right on time
Just need a Beat Bama shirt on that pic and we are good to go...
No, let's make it a #BeatBama hat of some sort.
Or a #BeatBama bikini top?
Could go for a bikini top or hat... no shirt!
She's hot but she may have the biggest bitch face of all time. AJ can have her...
Yeah ---> and she looks 35. I don't see what the deal is about her.
Yo I'm all about #BeatBama... But let's be real.
Girl got game.
I agree. I mean she's definitely hot, but I've definitely seen hotter girls. I bet AJ's mom was much hotter back in her day. She's just hyped up because Musburger(spelling?) is a creep.
The whole Miss Alabama thing helps a little too.
Agreed. also, Something is off with the proportions in that photo I think...
A couple of turnovers, an injury at a key spot, some mental lapses. Combined with excellent play by VT, can all lead to a VicTory. AL is good but not perfect.
