I've posted these in the past, however big difference this year, it doesn't share the same weekend as the spring game.
The Hogs4Hokies ride supports a Memorial Endowments Fund for the 32 lives lost on April 16th. All funds go to the Endowments.
There are multiple staging areas, Manassas, Bristow, Hampton, Richmond, Lynchburg, Charlottesville, and Staunton, so no matter where you are around the state of VA and neighboring areas, you should be able to meet up.
It's been a great ride the last few years. There are some sponsors who help feed us along the way, and then some awesome raffle items (Frank Beamer autographs for instance).
So if you ride, sign up and come on out. If not, feel free to register to help support the endowments.
You can register at http://www.hogs4hokies.org.
See you there.

Hope we can get more people to join in. Would be a shame to see this event peter out.
No other motorcycle riders in this forum? Always enjoy an excuse to head to Blacksburg. And you don't need a cruiser. A bunch of people roll on their sport bikes.
Currently have 43 registrations. I know that there are a few in my group who haven't signed up yet, so that will go up. The raffle items are picking up, with some autographs from coaches, and there is other cool swag.
Even if you don't ride, you can register to help out with the charity.
I just now saw this for the first time. I know not how.
I will certainly check my calendar.
In case I have another commitment, is there a place near Roanoke I can join up?
Edit: I see, Troutville Exxon. Good spot for me.
I see my wife has that day reserved. I may have to join up in Troutville. I'll check to make sure what it is I am assigned to do. I'll find a way to donate, I'll just need to work out the details.
Thanks for brining this back to the front page so I can finally see it.
Would be cool to finally meet. Got a lot of beer in common. I just got back from Russian River, they had some nice Belgians. Also can't wait til Deschutes comes to Roanoke.
Going to Asheville for spring break. Wife insisted.
Nice, my next trip there may be in October. Hit up Overland Expo. I really liked Pisgah and of course Wicked Weed. Oskar Blues was pretty cool too, and I like that they have random specialties available. Hi-wire was so so. Asheville Brewing is decent. You have to hit up Bruisin Ales and the Monk of course. Though I'm sure you know this already.
Yeah, I think this would be my 4th trip in the last 2 years, the last being thanksgiving but there are still new places that have opened since then.
Got to Burial last time. Lots of good beer there.
I've been meaning to hit Burial, so I'll escalate it on my list. Want to see the big guys too, since they are closer now.
I ride, but Cincinnati to BBurg is a real day not a leisurely ride. Wish I could do this.
Here is a note from one of the receiving students:
Hey Low Brau, which route do you guys take from Troutville to Blacksburg?
I ask because if it isn't the Freeway, I'll put my flag on. If it's the Freeway, the flag isn't a good idea.
I believe it is route 11. Once at troutville we have police escorts, so we cruise in.
I think they stop at the HD in christiansburg and then we roll to the drillfield and park there i think.
Christiansburg - New River Valley HD closed.
OK, the wife tells me my social calendar is cleared so, it looks like I can make this one.
Is it the power zone now? Because they keep mentioning that. Say hi when you join in. I'm one of the road captains so I'll be in the front of the group. I'm on a Kawi Z1000, red and white. Will probably have a bright yellow vest on. Or a vest with a Strength In Numbers patch on the back.
I don't know what's there now.
I'll be on a yellow Fat Boy so, I'll be tough to miss too.
For those who may not know, this ride is to commemorate those 32 who were lost this day.
Only a couple of days away. There are now 76 registrations, and hopefully more to come. Weather is going to be nice.
They put out a list of raffle and auction items:
1. Frank Beamer signed bobble head
2. Frank Beamer signed hat
3. Frank Beamer signed visor
4. Foster signed hat
5. Fuente signed mini helmet
6. Coach Thomas signed softball
7. Buzz signed basketball
8. 4 tickets to June 13 - Nats vs Cubs w/ garage parking, $400 face value
9. T shirts - Harley shirts from around the world
10. Metal Harley decorative sign
11. Leather biker jacket
12. Handmade VT Hogs4Hokies quilt - $150 value
13. River Creek Round of golf for 4 - Face Value $500
14. VT vs BC 2 tickets
Some of these are raffle and others are silent auction. They do them at the end of the ride. I don't think you have to have been in the ride to participate, as all the money goes to the charity.
If you come out, don't hesitate to say hi. There will be some guys with vests that have Low Brau patches, it may be me, or my MC.
