So likely an in state guy. Fuente and co. are on straight fire right now.

In Sam Rogers we trust.

247Sports reported it was Rayshard Ashby.

2 three star linebackers in one week and this one an 804 kid from a power house high school!

Wet stuff on the red stuff.

Obviously, we know who this was for now as it is official. But I saw that a "Rivals100 player committed elsewhere was gonna be at VT this week"

Anyone have word on this?

Jermani brown, currently committed to ASU.

4* CB, looks like he used to live in Cali and just moved to Midlothian.

Correct, Midlothian is a long ways from ASU...

Just need a girl----either a girlfriend or a mom----- to say they want him closer to home.

Better call somebody over at Louisville...

Why would a 4 star player go to Appalachian State? I kid, I kid. I know they're talking about Alberta State in Canada...

Watch "Yosef", App had 11 wins last year. They open in Knoxville and play the U in Boone this season. They are trending up.

Nothing against them. I like them. I'd absolutely love to see them win those 2 games

They are certainly trending up. Wouldn't be surprised to see them continue making upward moves and start stealing some serious recruits from NC schools. Boone being gorgeous will help the sell as well.

Also thank you guys for the answer, greatly appreciated!

What? Miami is playing in Boone?

Go Hokies

One of the more bizarre games I have seen scheduled recently. I won't miss it.

Were they trending up when they were winning 1-A championships like back to back? Did I miss something? Are they II-A now? Besides it's still early.

VT is division 1-A, App St was division 1-AA when they won 3 national titles in a row. I think they still are experiencing the momentum gained from those titles that propelled them into the Sun Belt Conference.

Yes. Appalachian State has always had a great tradition of football. The 05-07 Championship run propelled them into the FBS ranks. They will be a serious contender for recruits from Charlotte, SC, and ATL in the upcoming years.

Hopefully the scUM won't muck up beautiful Boone.

I'm hoping that the Hurricanes will not know what to do in the cool mountain air. While Kidd-Brewer Stadium is smaller, it's still a hostile environment.
