Since it's a bye week and we've got no one to hate on, it's time to turn the tables and show some love to any Hokie you'd like. Coaches, players, water boys/gals... fair game!

The Hokies are good at football.
Justin Fuente took your mother out to a nice seafood dinner and called her afterwards to say what a lovely woman she was. He also loves all puppies and kittens, gives candy to babies, and agrees that Moe's is better than Chipotle
FTFY. Remember, this is lovin' ok? so let's keep it positive.
Fair enough.......did I mention he's also on #TeamVinegarSauce and #TeamPie?
Willy's > Moe's
Saying a bunch of things that make me happy and I'm like "yes, yes loading upvote, now." Then you slip in the last phrase.

Justin Fuente agrees that Dorothy Mantooth is a saint.
In class this morning, the professor punted Greg Stroman a question, and he returned it for a touchdown.
The Hokies are winning the games they're supposed to. Decisively.
Major props to Cam Phillips and the way he's played so far this season. I've tended to think of our receiving corps as Isaiah, Bucky, then the rest, but with 15 catches for 238 yards and 2 TD so far, Cam has proven himself to be a major part of our passing game.
Whit Babcock, Justin Fuente, and Buzz Williams walk into a bar. LOLUVa loses.
Then Kevin Dresser jumps from a stool and body slams them.
Our players, coaching staff, and fans are good enough to not be at 1-3 with a marquee win over Central Michigan.
For Central Michigan, the UVA game was a classic trap game, as their focus was looking ahead to this Saturday's MAC rivalry showdown versus Western Michigan.
Even though it was said in sarcasm this is probably 100% true, WMU 4-0 with wins over two B10 teams.
Yep. The College Gameday guys, for what it is worth, mentioned the same thing.
I'm sure a lot of people here saw it, but the College Gameday guys also poked fun at LOLuva and put the over/under for their total wins this year at 0.5. Pretty sure they all took the under. It's moot now, but it was funny when they did it.
Fixed it to be more accurate
Jerod Evans brings his own case of bud to your party, still pays for a solo cup and then offers to help clean up when things start dying down.
Frank Beamer built a program based on hard work and integrity, which has been carried forward by men of similar coaching abilities, personalities, and character.
Underrated comment here.
I love the ethical foundation we have built in producing men of character/drive as well as talent.
Virginia Tech has a well-designed offense that is fun to watch.
Stinespring, O'Cain, and Loeffler tried their best but could never find this formula.
Whit hit this hire so hard out of the park, it destroyed the Death Star.
Which one is Fuente and which one is Buzz?
I think, personally, it is pretty obvious that Cal Naughton is Bud Foster
"Jerod Evans is the stone cold lock of the century of the week to win the Heisman" - Illinois Hokie /s
If I have learned two things in life, it's be careful what you say in the comments section, and Jerod Evans is going to win the Heisman.
Wait, all this time we've had Carl from ATHF posting here?
Watching Virginia Tech football is fun again!
HOKIES!!!!
I'm still giving this man a lot of love and thanks for giving coach Fu something to build on!!!!!

We are better than last year and that is all you can truthfully ask for each season!
The East Carolina defense was rushing to get to back to Greenville, but the Hokie O-Line seems to be blocking all traffic, allowing only passes to Ford for touchdowns.
Our screen passes actually go for a gain. I like that.
Sam Rogers is the kind of guy you want your daughter to date
I work with a guy who's a UVA fan, but know Sam Rogers. He asked if Sam scored a touchdown this weekend, and I told him that because there were so many touchdowns, I couldn't remember them all.
The answer is yes. Do not deny Rogers his pussy touchdowns.
You are no match for our Bud Fu!!!!
I just feel good all over for everyone involved :--)
The Hokies received votes in the rankings yesterday
I love that we have a backup QB that can come in (if needed) and be successful.
I mentioned this very thing to Mrs. GoKart on Saturday. It is a good feeling to have.
Chuck Clark. I am going to miss him so much next year. One of my favorite Hokie DBs of all time and s true leader.
Jerod Evans helps old ladies cross the street
Sam Rogers didn't hurt anyone when they made him mad
Justin Fuente doesn't correct you when you say his name incorrectly
Frank Beamer, in employment and retirement, keeps the spotlight on those who deserve it and off of himself.
Speaking of the pronunciation of coach's name...is it Foo-wen-tay or Fwen-tay? I hear everyone saying Foo-wen-tay so that must be correct even though in my head I think Fwen-tay.
Fwen-tay. The elongation to three syllables irks me. Don't trust the B-squad from the ACC network for pronunciation. Or Mack Brown. Motoopookoo is not playing mike linebacker.
It's pronounced "Kevin"
Jerod Evans has better stats than JT Barrett and still can't get mentioned. Wonder what the national outlets would say about his play if he had an Alabama, Ohio State, USCw, or Michigan jersey on. Something to think about.
Alabama, tOSU, and Michigan are all undefeated, mostly won decisively, and pounded their notable OOC opponents. We haven't beaten anyone of note yet, had little to no preseason hype, and lost the only big national stage game we've had. Give it a few more games, man.
Unfortunately, I don't think they are going to give him much love not matter what. The ACC is all about Lamar Jackson right now (with due respect and good reason), and still are waiting for Deshaun Watson to get the ball rolling. I am not saying he should be in the same conversation as a Heisman finalist, but I have heard virtually nothing about Evans' play. Maybe if we get a few ACC wins under our belt and his stats stay the same then maybe.
If he continues at his current pace we will be in the ACC-CG with 35 TD and 3 picks and you can rest assured that he will get his due.
I hope Evans and the team stay under the radar for a few more weeks. It keeps them hungry and humble and gives Fuente and staff more time to craft this team into the mad vision of utter dominance that seems to be his plan.
Our best receiver is genuinely excited for his team mates to have success.
Cam Phillips is upfront about not putting forth enough effort and finds a new gear and busts his ass to make up for it.
The Hokies have shown that when they don't fumble the football, games are unfair.
we have flipping awesome players

we have flipping awesome coaches

we have flipping awesome alumni

we have flipping awesome fans (OK, last time I use this one for a while, I swear)

Lol that's such a lie, but it's OK, the gif is too good not to use
hokie07ME wins
I love the fact that we have doughnuts references at the post game pressers the last two weeks.
Bud Foster drinks grain alcohol to sober up.
When Justin Fuente worked fast food in high school, he made sure every customer got an "accidental" curly.
CJF is the one who started the up-tempo, fast paced speed at Jimmy John's.
You want it fast, but instead get it JUSTIN-time
Justin Fuente laughs at your bad puns every time, and he means it.
Tim Sands was hired as the new president of VT, who then hired Whit Babcock, who then hired Buzz Williams and Justin Fuente, and I think that is just grand
Chaska Moon has one of the greatest names in Hokies history, and never gets a mention. Here's some love for Chaska Moon!

Better than George George?
George George IV. Don't want to confuse him with the other three.
While still president of VT, Charles Steger was the head of the committee that created the College Football Playoff.
James Gayle hates UVA
Hoo doesn't?
But James Gayle's Hoo-hate game on twitter is miles beyond anyone else's.
Heard Drew Harris was interested in enrolling and Lawson is ok not starting just to be part of this hype!
Our coaches let parents do their thing without interfering or worrying about what the public thinks.
The Hokies have held the Commonwealth Cup and the Black Diamond trophy for nearly 13 years, and they ain't even mad.
-Side note, WVU lost one game in 2005. To Marcus Vick-led Hokies.
This gives me an opportunity to say something nice about Marcus. He was talented. I approve of this gesture.
I'm out of nice things to say about Marcus.
38-0
We seem to be taking for granted how smooth this coaching transition has been. I don't think any other school has seen anything like this.
We had a whole Beamerball Vs Fuball thread, yet Fuente has continued to talk about building upon Beamer's legacy rather than Fuente bringing in his own brand of football. There are only a few fans that seem to try and make it Beamer vs Fuente, and I think it's because not everyone knows how to act during a smooth head coaching change.
We also had the benefit of the incumbent coach stepping down into retirement on his own, not common in today's world of revenue sports. Sure he was probably given several nudges last year and may have even been shown the door, but he opened it and walked through it himself.
Hell, from what I know about Beamer, maybe last year was all part of his master plan to have a "just good enough" record to extend the bowl streak all to make the next coach look that much better replacing him. Frank Beamer is genuinely one of the greatest humans I know.
I think the only altruistic thing left for Beamer to do is to refuse to be inducted into the college football hall of fame until they allow coordinators to be inducted as well.
Seth Dooley fucks.
