I found out that on Nike's website you can create your own football uniforms. I found the uniform that we used against Alabama and changed the color schemes for a possible home and away concept. I didn't put the logo on the jersey as I didn't really like how that looked very much. I would rather it be a small patch on the collar. Also wouldn't mind having Hokies written across the chest in a small font. Only differences are:
- on the maroon I chose to do 2 colors instead of 3 (eliminated white).
- changed the font of the numbers
- changed the pants around a bit to have a little orange stripe
- put tv numbers on top of the shoulders

All maroon everything would look best with white numbers. Everything else is terrific.
I didn't white to make the jersey look a little darker so to speak but white would definitely still look good, no doubt.

Yup. Far right. As much maroon as you can handle, orange where you can't. What if we did all maroon everything with only an orange border around the numbers and white lettering for the names?
I was about to mock this up but the paint bucket in MSPaint shows me that those colors have gradients. Boo urns.
I thought I would like it more but I think a little bit of orange is needed. Otherwise it's just another A&M uni. I think for #allmarooneverything we should use the orange number with out the white outlining
I would drop all orange from the all maroon and that would be the sexiest uniform ever.
I also really like the whites.

Partial to the shoulder stripes here. Greys were waay too generic.
Greys were really bland because whoever designed them used the Nike website and was limited by their color selection and jersey selection. This brings me to my ultimate point...Our past decade of uniforms can be designed on Nike's website (with a few tweaks here and there). Why hasn't Virginia Tech gone and had Nike design a really nice, unique, Nike Pro Combat Design that they can wear game after game and still look good in? UNC did it this past year and it looks great.
