Just got this and I'm listening....

Hokies, Local Soccer, AFC Ajax, Ravens

If redskins don't take Tremaine, R. Smith, Vita Vea or Da'Ron Payne, I would love for them to take Settle in the second round. Take one of the Lb's plus him.... hell yea.

Skins could go with an all VT draft and get positions of need:

Both Edmunds bros, Settle, and Wyatt Teller.

I thought we wanted them to get developed and have long careers with a functional organization.

As a Redskins fan, this is painful yet true.

Look it ain't easy being a DC sports fan, there's no need to rub it in.

Dan Snyder on Draft Day, right there.

A decade on TKP and it's been time well spent.

Thanks for that, was at work while it aired live.

Can someone summarize?

Gave a very well spoken interview. Says he prefers the 4-3 over the 3-4 because he's played in it most of his life. Compared his game to Vince Wilfork and B.J. Raji (who he said is his favorite player). He also talked about the interview process with teams before the draft and how he's had to mature faster than most 20 year olds because of it.

Yeah, the radio hosts thought that was strange as well. Tim said the comparison was based on the speed and twitch those two guys have relative to their weight.

Fair enough then, but it's definitely a head-scratcher from a scheme/role perspective

Was gonna say that about Raji as well since most of his time with the Packers was in a 3-4

the numbers don’t lie and they spell disaster

I think Settle is going to be on Wes McElroy's show tomorrow a.m., 910AM Richmond. Not sure of the time, but McElroy will usually put it on his twitter feed.

Take the shortest route to the ball and arrive in bad humor.

If anyone listened to the "d-line draft expert" they had on before Tim, he said he would be a great nose tackle who maybe struggles getting to the passer. That is based entirely off his size and nothing else. Tim is a super twitchy and quick 4-3 DT who's game is based off penetrating, not eating double teams (though he can).
