Will be continue to update this post as news about other games break..

1) UCF at UNC is Cancelled and WVU at NC State is Cancelled

2) Boston College at Wake moved from 7:30pm on 9/13 to 5:30pm on 9/13

3) UVA Potentially Moving Game Location with Ohio to Nashville

4) Robert Morris at JMU has been moved to 9/13 @ 7pm

Sounds like a win win for UNC and State. Allows students and attendees to stay safe and avoid watching both teams suffer another embarrassing loss. Something, something UNC and Hurricane games...

So, what happens to the time-space continuum if ECU and the Hokies do not play football during a season?

Might want to check that before cancelling. It could have serious implications.

So, if ECU cancels (as they probably should, given what's coming their way) and Florence decides to hang out over NC instead of Virginia (i.e. follows the euro models), can we just invite UCF up to Blacksburg? They were coming up this way anyways, and we'd now have the hotel space that ECU was going to use. Shouldn't take us too long to figure out how to defend UCF, as we just handled FSU's similar system. (Or was that USF? Shit, I get those two confused.)

so, if you bet on a 5 leg parlay and two of the games got canceled due to the hurricane, what happens? Asking for a friend...

If one or more legs of a parlay are pushed or cancelled, the parlay odds are recalculated (reduced) based on the remaining legs that have action. Therefore, a push or cancellation in a two-team parlay is paid as a straight bet on the remaining leg using the original risk amount to calculate the win amount.

Me too. Maybe I am crazy, but walking out during an eye of a hurricane is an amazing feeling. It is bone deep.

All the negative impact aside, hurricanes are incredible natural phenomena.

Totally agree. That was the coolest part of Irma was being out in the eye to check what had happened so far. Until we were at the far side of the property when the back side of it started coming through...

Rumors on BoneyardBanter (ECU's message board) make it sound like they are heading to Orlando for Saturday. Sounds like the game will be cancelled and ECU will stay there until their game against USF.

Will the UCF and UNC game be made up? I can see UNC being happy because it avoids a L, but UCF probably was going to use this W to trumpet their SOS and how they can compete with the big boys. I feel bad for UCF truth be told.

Same with NC State/ WVU. NC State is a pretty good team and each club would have used that as a resume building win

Can anyone offer any insight onto whether or not Marshall will play South Carolina in Columbia on Saturday? Columbia isn't supposed to get hit, but Marshall has to travel, and parts of South Carolina are going to get hit. And even if the game does happen, would I be wise to swallow my 50 bucks and stay off the roads?

Game was cancelled today. Good news is that Marshall and UCF share bye weeks, and if Marshall takes care of business in conference play, that game might determine who gets the G5 bid in the NY6 bowls if they decide to play that game.
