After (unfortunately) missing the hype in Lane Stadium last year when Clemson came to town, I was imagining earlier in the day about how insane the pre game atmosphere would be for Notre Dame if all goes well the next 4 games.
Then browsing Facebook, I stumbled across this video on my wall and had a good laugh.

I think I would quietly get up and leave the stadium if anything remotely similar to this played prior to our football games.
Can't wait to jump on 10/6....

What. The. Füüükkk??
This looks like a scene from Sharknado.
that...was...awful
I should not have watched this while eating...nearly died!
It's cheesy as hell, but I actually feel like it would look cool if literally any other school did it.
For those of y'all who don't travel to Lane North, they always have one of these before a home game and when we go it is always some remdition of Cavman killing the Hokie Bird and eating him for Thanksgiving dinner. It's always just as bad as what you just saw.
It really is laughably bad. Typically gets a chuckle throughout the stadium...so maybe it's to lighten an otherwise tense mood?
Since when has UVA ever had a tense mood at a football game?
*tense for me. I literally was ready to vomit in stadium that first drive last night...didn't even drink that much at the tailgate, I was just anxious as hell lol the UVA games are kinda the same except the drinking is amplified by a billion.
Does Cavman even know what turkey tastes like?
Last time UVA beat VT, CavMan was a CavTot, and he was too young to retain that memory.
Thanksgiving was not recognized as a holiday the last time UVA beat VT in football
Cavman prefers cornish hens.
Damn. Come to think of it, so do I.
Makes me want to find that video they put out trying to get their students to show up in 2011
Did one of those super cheap Taiwanese animation companies make this??
It's like a middle schooler discovered how to use a video program for the first time
Dafuq
WOW.
This is some of the lamest shit I've ever seen. 0/10 would not watch again.
Looks like a nintendo 64 cut scene
They have been doing this for a good 15 years or so, but the graphics and creativity have not improved at all with the technology
I was about to post the same thing. I thought this had to be from a Spiders game years ago, but nope, its from this week. It has been going on a long time. And I would guess 15 years as well, and it looks exact same as it did then. I guess that is supposed to whip the wild Scott Stadium crowd into a frenzy.
I guess by using bad CGI, they don't have to worry about Cavman falling off the horse.
That was totally juvenile.
Holy wow... I thought they stopped doing the Adventures of Cavman a decade ago, and they were cheesy back then. The fact this is still going on is.... hilarious
Oh wow, that is....worse than usual
Embedded here so you dont have to click the link/leave the page.
Looks like they spared no expense...this is even cheesier than the Vegas Golden Knights pre-game "show" during the Stanley Cup playoffs.
The idea with the projector technology was/is decent.... I think they should've had them wear track spikes and choreographed a much better fight than what they could've done/did on skates.
Any who: Go Caps
No way they would've let them on the ice in spikes before a game.
Cavman's horse is fat.
That's because he doesn't work out on a treadmill
I have a feeling that this will be their new recruiting video.
Where's the one from the UMBC game?

That's not how webs work....
and a black widow's red hourglass isn't on the top of the abdomen....

Right? The spider got him. Full Shelob situation there.
Okay until he missed several obvious opportunities to cut through webs ("how are we supposed to animate that?!?") and then bounced off of one without sticking.
Maybe he couldn't cut through the web because he traded in his sword for a giant glow stick?
But his glow stick causes explosions!
Wahoos.....Doing hard things together again.
Wahoos football...Hardly doing things together.
Deadass, these are actually the most interesting part of a Cavs game lol.
Dear LOLUVA:
Found another gem. It's really a gift that keeps on giving #rammingspeed
Best & Worst Fan Bases in College Football
It's even better when you realize what he's actually measuring is how valuable the CFB brand of each school is relative to how much money they spend trying to develop said brand. What this article is calling the bottom 5 fanbases could probably be restated to be the top 5 biggest try hards in CFB.
In defense of WVU, I suspect the issue for them is they spend a lot of money on their athletic program and their fans simply don't have a lot of money to spend on merchandise.
How are they supposed to make a decent video when they only have 27 ACC-Caliber Digital Animators on staff?
Why didn't Cavman get stuck in the spider web?
Exactly what I was wondering...
So, what did their video look like when they took on UMBC?
I'm pretty sure that used to be their intro before Cavman took the field with the team up until a couple years ago, when they made it a 10 minutes pregame or halftime thing or whatever they do with it now. Imagine that being your team's Enter Sandman. Yeesh.
soooooo UVA has created an AR version of CAVMAN. You can print out a UVA decal, point your phone at it and Cavman dances on it.

https://uvaclubs.virginia.edu/cavman/
Then you post #cavman on social media. I feel like there is a ton of Friday afternoon fun of things we hokie fans could do with this technology.
GUNTAR. MASHUP. GO!!

Whose boots did he steal?
uva is like the little sister that is always wearing big brothers clothes; they don't fit, they don't look right, and they're annoying as hell trying to act like one of the big kids.
