Obviously this isn't puttin our best foot forward for the trip to NOLA. It's an extra distraction and now we have to find another kicker. What do you guys think?

idiot. that is all there really is to say. what was THE KICKER doing?! REALLY? I see the only way he kicks again is if the charges are dropped, otherwise he gets the boot.
However, the article did suggest that there was more than just a home invasion, that is that it may have been the extension of a fight or altercation. I don't think that changes anything though.

We had a similar home invasion charge this year involving a second string safety. It came out weeks later that it was much less serious than reported. We've all seen it. Best thing to do is let it play out and withhold judgement.

What??! Dude this isn't miami, what's up with an arrest for breaking and entering with a gun and drugs involved? And why a place with one of our basketball players? Agree that they look beat up...good. Like our kicking game hasn't been the worst in VT history already. Anyone know who the backup kicker is?? I know we joke about Coale but at least he punted in high school, doubt he kicks too. Ugh... Again, we really need to start recruiting some legit kickers. If you were an amazing HS kicker on the east coast what is there not to like about VT's special teams history...recruit!!

Tyler Weis kicked in the Duke game when Journell was out with an injury and then Justin Myer had an attempt at the long ones in the UNC and UVA games.
Journell was supposed to be that legit kicker, he's the first kicker since Shayne Graham to receive a scholarship for it...

We might need to call the young lady back that tried out at kicker in the preseason. Oh, and as long as we have LT3 running every red zone trip into the end zone, we should give that precious scholarship to a punter.

There is nothing positive to say about this. How idiotic do you have to be to risk a full ride scholarship and a chance to play college football over illegal drugs? If he is stupid enough to take part in this event, he doesn't deserve to play football at Virginia Tech.
As for kicking, hopefully we don't have too many 4th downs, and if we do, I hope they are short enough for LT3 to gain.
