Kirven taking an OV to TN and not MD .. With Sunseri in as DC .. who knows .. I still don't see him there though -- VT or Bama

Nothing surprises me with regards to recruiting.

But at this point, you'd have to believe Tennessee is a little behind in the game.

romond is actually eligible. he will be visiting next week. it's between us and temple. and i'm not to worried about kirven to tn...i still say we are in good shape for the 3 big ones..

edit:: scratch that...he visited today

does not equal having the courses needed to gain admittance. i don't know 1 way or the other, but just clarifying.

Yup, his visit was Saturday.

In a text message, Deloatch said he was in Blacksburg today and plans to visit Temple next weekend. The Owls, Cincinnati and Marshall have offered scholarships, but the Hokies have stepped up their interest of late.

After deciding not to play basketball, Deloatch returned to the team and gave a strong performance off the bench Friday night. His rebounding and defense against Kecoughtan's Rodney Bullock were factors in the Phantoms' win.

“He did an excellent job on defense against Rajay," Phoebus coach James Daniel said. "Just that winning mentality he brings from football, I think that’s tremendous for us."

Deloatch had 40 receptions for 821 yards and nine touchdowns last season. He is one of five players in VHSL history to play on four state championship teams.

yeah -- he's visiting tn this weekend .. but being so quick to flip-flop between tn and md for the visit, i'd have to say that neither are probably where he'll go .. i'm sure we're recruiting him harder than bama .. that's gotta count for something .. i'm sure we're recruiting all 3 of these studs harder than our counterparts .. maybe that'll be the difference. this is a big class .. do we have room for all of these guys or will shane/cav get 'creative' if they have to .. sec style ??

well with the 4 leaving early..that will help out. and rumors are floating around that maybe a couple others are not going to return next year as well (don't worry..not in the 2 deep) and yes..we are recruiting these last 3 hard...the coaches went and visited ekanem in the hospital after his surgery (nd has kinda backed off..using him as a plan b. also..the coach that recruited him for nd has moved on to massachusets) i feel confident that we will close strong this year with the big 3. and hopefully we can snag deloatch as well. id think we'd be a better choice than temple..but we shall see. hopefully the visit went well.
