I only acknowledge Episodes I-VI, along with Rogue One.
The others may have great special effects, but I'll never embrace their storylines. Also, Kylo and Snoke aren't intimidating villains in the least bit.

Sad to see such a legendary trilogy get sandwiched by such shit. Honestly, the newer trilogy is pretty much on par with the prequels which I thought would have been impossible.

In the star wars wedding I assume he is Solo and she Leia. But in the potter wedding some one is a ginger I assume. Unless your going with the groom as Neville, which well I understand the star wars wedding.

Which is why it makes sense to respond using "& with your Force Ghost" or "& with your Force Spirit" (or some variant). I will say tho', I prefer that they had kept it "also w/ you".

Now that I've offended most of you already, I'm going to rank my favorite Star Wars movies and shows (which will probably offend the rest of you). Again, I'm not sorry.
The Clone Wars (show, not movie) > Rogue One > Empire Strikes Back > A New Hope > Force Awakens> Star Wars Rebels > Solo > The Last Jedi > Return of the Jedi > Episode 3 > Episode 1 > taking a satisfying dump > listening to Anakin talk about sand AKA Episode 2.

Good catch. Completely forgot about that when making the list. I've ranked that above Return of the Jedi in a move that will likely get me banned from the community.
Hot take: outside of the Jabba's palace scene, I actually don't really like RotJ that much. And watching it as an adult makes me think that it's immune from criticism simply because it's a classic.

Having not seen TCW or SWR, I would have to agree with you. Rogue One at the top, continuity aside, is very well done cinematically and nostalgically, not to mention badass Vader. ESB and ANH are tops of the original trilogy. Force Awakens is the best of the new trilogy thus far. Solo is a fun look into the underworld of the Star Wars Universe and I would rate it similar to ROTJ. TLJ is better each time I watch it, but still not among the top half of the film saga, IMHO. I completely agree with your last four placements though.

For the Clone Wars (show, not movie) is it the CGI (considered canon now) or the hand drawn animation drawn by the animator of Samurai Jack (apparently considered not canon now).
Personally I liked the hand drawn Clone Wars better than CGI, also nice to see Rogue One near the top because the movies/shows does not always need a full view of Jedi/Sith (I am this way in Warhammer 40K where I like stories of regular humans of the Astra Militarum better than the genetically modified humans of Space Marines, just a personal thing of mine).

The original trilogy is good, but has plenty of flaws like the prequels/sequels. On the whole, it is a better trilogy than the other sagas, but nostalgia has poisoned the SW fan base to the point where it collectively cannot enjoy new entries to the series. Personally, I think TFA was good, Rogue One was excellent, TLJ was okay but Rose sucks and Carrie Poppins was dumb, and Solo was good but got a lot of the leftover heat from TLJ.
I'd posit that all of those are leagues better than Ep. 2.

Was saddened to hear about Mayhew's passing. RIP, Chewie
Peter Mayhew, actor whose great height made him perfect to play Chewbacca in the 'Star Wars' films – obituary
By all accounts, a very good dude IRL.
I only acknowledge Episodes I-VI, along with Rogue One.

You acknowledge 1-3?
Yeah it's more like Rogue One, 4, 5 and Donald Glover as Lando.
Only the Pod Race (without dialogue) and Duel of the Fates
Have you checked out the Clone Wars? Yes - It's animated, but it's very very solid. Especially in the later seasons.
Sad to see such a legendary trilogy get sandwiched by such shit. Honestly, the newer trilogy is pretty much on par with the prequels which I thought would have been impossible.
Going to my friend's star wars themed wedding this afternoon may the force be with you all!
Now THAT is committing.
The wife wanted Harry Potter themed and he wanted star wars so they compromised
The groom overruled the bride on the wedding theme?
I got a bad feeling about this
[insert fart noise]

And also with you
Actually it's "and with your Force Ghost" (in keeping with the "and with your spirit" to which it was changed back in '08).
Actually, I think that was a Catholic joke.
It's so ingrained from childhood, that I catch myself responding that way to "May the Force be with you" from time to time.
Yes. That's correct. But the Catholic Church switched it from "and also with you" to "and with your spirit" in '08.
This shows how much I've been to church recently.
Which is why it makes sense to respond using "& with your Force Ghost" or "& with your Force Spirit" (or some variant). I will say tho', I prefer that they had kept it "also w/ you".
I watched the end of IV and start of V today in between chores.
For all the series missteps, those two sequences in a row are still some excellent cinema
Imma bout to bump the hell out of this thread and I'm not sorry.
Oh shit you asked for it
I'm turning off the internet.
Oh... Your boyfriend.... He's special.... Bless his heart.
He belongs to you? Lucky lady!
Sometimes not sure if lucky or cursed.
You let him move in with you.
Revenge of the Sixth sounds better & more accurate.
I've never had to deal with the morning after drinking a sixth...

Those of us who know and love you weren't offended. We know that you are special. Bless your heart *patting you on the head**
The last Jedi doesn't even make the cut, huh?
What's that??
EDIT: Also, why do I suddenly feel the urge to crap like Greg Marsh & Bono from South Park everytime I see or hear that title??

You're stupid.
It's not great, basically people want Jedi Luke and they dont care about the rest of anything.
*do not downvote for opinions, do not downvote for opinions*
Revenge of the Jedi + satisfying shit need to be ranked above Farce/Farts Awakens & prequels.
I really like all of them for different reasons. My favorite is still the Lego Star Wars.
No Solo?
Dammit. Forgot about that one too. I really enjoyed it. Donald Glover was a beast of a young Lando.
Did you just put the last Jedi over Return of the Jedi?

Which makes me sad, considering how pedestrian than movie is. Essentially just a reboot of ANH.

I'm in complete agreement with you on your bottom four, though I might put taking a dump over episode 1 too....
You left off the two Ewok movie spin-offs (Caravan of Courage, and Battle for Endor), and the Star Wars Holiday Special

That's a fair take. I'll allow it.
For real, its rare you read a level-headed and reasoned take such as that among this fan base
