Grrrrr, this fucking game!!! I am still pissed FOR Tincher that she beat Team USA's ass virtually single-handedly and then softball was done as an Olympic sport.

I would like to just be able to view the content from this $h!t hole island I live on. As it stands now I wont be able to watch the opener or the Furman game because no one offers ACC Network to overseas territories.

Can you imagine how nauseating that channel is going to be the day or week of Duke vs UNC basketball games? They'll be playing old games between those two for a week straight leading up to it.

What if they created a show called "Leave it to BEAMER". Just follow him around to speaking engagements, dog walks, cookout, pedicures, etc. I'd watch!

It is on channel 612 but last night I was told I had to sign up for the Sports Package (extra $13.99/mo) to get ACCN. This despite SECN and B1G being a part of my standard package. Not sure if the customer service rep was very knowledgeable, though as I haven't seen anything on the DirecTV page stating any such requirement.

Maybe a show giving tours of each school's sports facilities, MTV Cribs style. Clemson's would probably be mad impressive given the dough they've been pulling in.

Every single damn athletic event VT competes in, within a week of when it is competed. Tennis, Field Hockey, Ladies Swimming. Throw in a few engineering design and build competitions, a marching competition or some performance art. I'll watch club rugby or women's golf before I re-watch any sporting event VT does not win, and pretty much anything VT is in before any other sport.

Not limiting my list to just content, but this is my ACC Network Wishlsit:
Non-revenue sports - As a tennis fan, I'd love seeing more ACC tennis coverage. The Tennis Channel typically airs the NCAA tournament, but I'd love to be able to actually watch VT's team instead of just checking scores.
30-for-30 style documentaries about Mike Vick, Beamer, Bowden, Coach K, Duke/UNC rivalry, da U, conference realignment, etc. There's so much history in the ACC, you must take advantage of that.
Gambling talk - I'm not a big sports gambler, but I think it's (1) fascinating discussion topics and (2) a very under served market. I think this could be a way to (slightly) increase viewership from people who aren't necessarily fans of an ACC team.
Fun, unique, and creative shows featuring highlights, replays, and analysis - Like gambling, I think having some creative content could help create a passionate niche audience. If the ACC network can brand themselves as cool and witty, viewers will tune in for more than just games. Some potential inspiration/shows to emulate:
Give me a chalk talk segment that breaks down film like French does.
Bring in COMPETENT former players/personalities - SEC network did a great job of doing this. It should be easy for us to do with basketball, but there's still plenty of football personalities to rely on. I don't care if these people have hot takes, or are controversial, but under no circumstances should they be raycom-sports quality.
A dynamic mobile/streaming app - Y'all have been planning this network for 5 fucking years. PLEASE tell me that you're supporting streaming, and will be able to seamlessly transition into a post-cable world in the upcoming decades.
At least one Notre Dame game (preferably more) each season - The rest of the ACC has given up bowl opportunities to welcome ND into the league. This is how ND returns the favor.
A show about the college towns of the ACC - I would love to watch an Anthony Bordain (RIP) style show where someone visits college football towns and explores everything to do there. Imagine an episode about VT featuring McAfee's knob, homeplace, rails, turkey legs, hokie stone, etc. Personally, I'd love to see ESPN do this for all schools, but might as well start it on the ACC network.
University specific content - The HokieSports all access videos that are on youtube and all over TKP should be broadcasted on the ACC network. Give every team 30 minutes a week to broadcast their own content. Could be a super interesting recruiting tool.

This... This is an amazing, and surprisingly out-of-the-box, idea. I love it.
Just have it hosted by TheFifthFuller. A live video Foe-rensics.

Damnit..i was a minute too late

All of the VT ACC championship games in football as filler material.

Sounds like VPN time to me
I'm in Asia and am using ExpressVPN paired with my Hulu Live subscription. Might work for you too!
3.5 hours a game X 15 games = ~53 hours of prime time content that everyone except UVA fans want to see.
You're forgetting the glory of overtime!
3.5 x 15 = 52.5 + .5 OT = 53
Math bitches!
Hard Knocks/A Season With Virginia Tech Football & Basketball. 3 1 hour episodes every week. No commercials.
The sound you hear is Justin Fuente laughing wildly in the distance
Yeah, I heard it...
Need more content about Duke and Carolina basketball, especially during football season. Also, some "Leave it to Beaver" reruns
Can you imagine how nauseating that channel is going to be the day or week of Duke vs UNC basketball games? They'll be playing old games between those two for a week straight leading up to it.
As a born and raised resident of Durham, NC, the answer is yes I can
Shit that's what ESPNU is for during that time
Now with the ACCN they can double the pleasure double the fun!
Whoa whoa whoa. This is ACC Country dammit. We only watch The Andy Griffith Show in this house
Tell it to Pete Gillen

Content on Dish.
What channel is this on DirecTV (they're website is not very clear)?

Thanks, Leg!
I have AT&T U-verse and as of last night I don't have the channel.
Fortunately I live within stumbling distance of the local pub here in Dallas that does all the VT games and they have Direct TV, so I should be set.

Cavman falling off his horse for 3 hours straight after UVa loses to Pitt next weekend

It's a shame that they're not going to touch anything Michael Vick related. An absolute legend that's going to be ignored because he's so polarizing
I watched a little bit of Florida/Miami 2003 on ACCN last night. Made me want to see VT/Miami 2003.
Although I was surprised at how poor the video and audio quality was. It was like they were using a VHS recorded off of the ABC broadcast via antenna.

BTN did this and it was awesome but it's northern food, so it's all bland and cheese. Let's see some seasoned food!
BTN does The Journey for both football and basketball, which is really well done. I'd like to see an ACC version of that.
