I, and every other degenerate gambler out there, have this habit of getting too excited with my parlays. For instance, I had what turned out to be a fantastic 3 leg parlay thrown together, only to tack on just one more bet. FML. Even so, it would have been a wash of a weekend if Clemson could have scored just one more time or if UCF didn't inexplicably forget how to play football... Don't bet kids.
Anyway, on to this week's lines.
- Pedo State (-6): In what world is #12 PSU only a 6 point favorite over Maryland? Maryland who was exposed by mighty Temple just two weeks ago? I'm sorry, give me the don't drop the soap sandusky's over the terps by double digits.
- Temple (-8.5): Speaking of Temple....I'm loving that GT is expected to lose by more than a TD to the owls. Not loving what is says about our division, but, if there ever was a year for us to need a weak division, this is it.
- ODU (-3): It's the battle of the obnoxious little brothers. I'm still pissed at ODU for gifting LOLUVa a TD last week and not finishing them off, but I can't stay mad at them. ODU (-3). After all, whoever heard of a let down game to Eastern Carolina the week after punching above your weight on national television?
- anOSU (-14.5): I took this line and I fully expect this line to jump like crazy given that Nebraska isn't BAK and anOSU's only black mark this season is a head scratching 34 point win over FAU.

LOL the VT line when I woke up this morning was VT -9.5....that moved quick.
I took Duke +4 at 4:00 yesterday. Where did you see VT -9.5?!
Every site listed here was -9.5...I'm guessing just by looking at where they opened that there was some issue with the program that was pulling the lines in for that game.

Toledo may be a good MAC team but BYU should be favored by more than 3 at home. Give me the Cougars.
We'll see how this turns out: calling wake (-4.5) as my lock of the week. Sprinkling it on some other bets as a parlay. Either I'll make out like a bandit or be yet another cautionary tale.
EDIT: no the spread is not 4.5, I'm just lowering it and taking the hit to the payoff since I'm using it as an adder.
Some of the heavy favorites look appealing to me this week, which always has an uncertain feel to it. Still I'd go:
Wisconsin (-21.5)
Bama (-34.5)
anOSU (-14.5)
If I'm going underdogs, I like USCw (+9) and UCLA (+7.5).
I like that UCLA pick.
Expect a UCLA let down after that emotional comeback...Khalil tate has torn them up in the past...stay away from this one
You could be right on the emotional letdown but it's also possible UCLA starts playing with more confidence after getting the first big win under Kelly. Also it's largely about my lack of confidence in Arizona more than being all in on UCLA or anything.
Also these teams last played in 2017 when RichRod was Arizona's coach, Jim Mora was UCLA's coach, and Tate was in the midst of tearing up everybody with his legs. He has gotten back to running more this year compared to last season so that gives me some pause.
The good news is we get to see how it actually plays out on Saturday.
I live in Tucson and had no idea Tate was out for this game...needless to say, being a hokie and living in a basketball town has made me less of a college football fan. Good pick on UCLA, though.

So since week 3 I've picked every ACC game that Fox Sports has the line on just to see where I land...cause I dont have money to actually gamble all of these games. Had a good week last week and brought me back alive. This weeks ACC slate is tough. I dont like any of the first 3 lines
