Funny how Nardouche says he despises the sloppy penalties when he's the douche nozzle teaching his players to be chippy/undisciplined. This goose egg meant a lot to this team and to CBF.

We would have had a hat trick on the false starts with another INT as a bonus, but the refs called a phantom pass interference on DD instead. Is it me, or are the refs getting worse every game?
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
They've been bad and are getting worse. At least before the use of replay, the refs got the calls right at least 80-90% of the time. Now their lucky to get near 50%, and still don't know what a catch or PI is when it's right in front of them. It's pretty pathetic.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
It didn't effect the outcome so I was less mad then about the ND game, but this was another case of some really horrible calls by the refs. They say reffing is a hard job, but I mean, how hard is it to realize that a hit in the field of play isn't a late hit?
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
I get that, as Fuente said, it's a slippery slope to start reviewing more penalties.
But calls like that are often game changers and need to be right.
On one Pitt drive alone, we had something like 3 or 4 blown calls go against us.
As I recall it was the one against Connor, then 2 missed holds on Dad as he was literally turned around by the olineman reaching out and grabbing him by the shoulder pads.

Didn't you read the Hatin' on thread? So many reasons to hate. He's a consensus first team all world douche. 5 star douche on douche bag recruiting sites.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
He learned this behavior from his coach. I'm certain that I saw Nardouche getting into a shouting match with Hewitt in the second half.....anyone else see this?
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
FWIW, a season ticket holder on twitter said his seats are right behind the visitor's benches and that Pitt's coaching staff was antagonizing players trying to get a reaction. Don't have specifics, but Pitt is out of control. Add in Narduzzi's comments about the targeting, and that whole staff needs to go. It's disgraceful.

Thanks everyone! I probably do owe everyone an update after not putting out a trailer this year (and I had a comment on my last video asking if I was still alive...). Back when I started this I was a chipper young dozer fresh out of college. Now though...my wife and I had our third kid in June of this year and I just didn't have the time or energy to put out a trailer. I really enjoy making these shorter videos right after meaningful games though and I don't think I'll ever stop doing them. I still do stuff behind the scenes for the site to ensure French can get cracking on those awesome film reviews as soon as the game is over. It still remains to be seen if I have the time for next years trailer though. Thanks for watching and GO HOKIES!
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
I was wondering why we didn't see a trailer from you, definitely something I look forward to every year. Life gets in the way understandably. Thank you for all of the work you put out, they're always high quality whether they're a minute and a half or 10 minutes.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
You did not say how old they are, but here's a suggestion (part in jest, part serious), the way kids pick up technology today, maybe they can start helping you?
My son was 3 when he went up the computer pressed the button to open the CD tray, loaded one of his Freddy Fish discs (the right way up), clicked on the icon to open the file and start the game. I had done all of those steps for him in the past but just wasn't quick enough on that day, so he did it himself. Maybe there is a BilldozerVT-Junior (or daughter) in your family's future?
If you are really glib, you can try convincing your wife that you are having quality father-son (daughter) time. [Good luck with that. :>) ]

So glad you included the Chamarri Conner hit near the sideline which was absolutely not a penalty. Those refs were about as terrible as Pitt yesterday.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
Posts as in on here? Yeah those pictures are from the grounds and equipment staff at VT. 100% true. Bent chairs and trash everywhere.
The worst I saw in the visiting locker room was after the Miami baseball team visited one year. They shit in the laundry baskets and left it for us to find.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
Got the pics on hand? If true, than wow. Between that and video of the Pitt player disrespecting the paint in the end zone it seems like the team has some serious issues. What does that even serve to have the janitorial staff clean up after your shitty behavior?

It looks like most of the trash is in the trash receptacles, and 1 chair is bent? It even looks like the recyclables are in the recycling container. Were they supposed to vacuum?
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
Actually that ten dollar chair is probably worth at least a $100.00 now. I know I am probably not the only TKP moron who would pay a $100.00 for that chair. Or maybe I am. In any event I would love to have that chair prominently placed in my living room to watch Virginia Tech games, and in particular future Pitt games. It is probably in a dumpster near the the stadium. Can anybody help me acquire that chair.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
You typically leave it as close to the way you found it. Which means a lot of the trash on the floor picked up with some leeway. I assume that if they are publicly posting pictures and complaining about it, VT picked up a lot of trash before this picture was shared.

It was indeed! Being cold and wet throughout the game didn't matter with the big win and singing along to that. Starting that tradition was the best thing the cousins ever did!!

And Welcome to the Jungle after the interview where the guy said they would be walking into a jungle. And Pat said they wouldn't jump offsides because they had experienced the atmosphere at Penn State.

My son had never heard the Pitt version, and he got a big kick out of it.
This was the last home game of his senior year, and it was a great way to go out. That class saw Coach Beamer retire their freshman year and Coach Foster retire their senior year.

Great vid BD! I must've missed the news cycle though. What's the history on this false start thing? I saw ndouchie's presser but what exactly was the douchiness of it?
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
False Starts are a very common penalty in football. According to a quick Google search, False Starts were the second most common penalty in the 2018 NFL season with over 2 per game (sauce). So to say a team won't have any false starts is a bit of douchey hubris.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
Especially an undisciplined team with an undisciplined coach.
And, of course, it's intended as a swipe at the fans. Everyone else says, "we love that great atmosphere, we feed off it!" or some kind of coachspeak. But Nardouche gotta Nardouche.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
I didn't hear the original presser, but in the radio broadcast they said he claimed they didn't have any false starts in Happy Valley, so they certainly wouldn't have any in Lane.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
Not sure where else to put this, so this seems like a good place. I actually was impressed that Narduzzi, in his own cringeworthy way, complimented Bud and our team for the way they played after the game. However, Kenny Pickett takes the steak in grinding out some big chunks of salt after the game. Just listen to this tool.
Stay classy Shittsburgh.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
Meh...his receivers dropped catchable balls all night. I think he's more frustrated at how his team played than he is at anything VT did.
There's a difference in a grown ass man complaining about officiating and making guarantees on the radio and a player being frustrated by a loss, particularly when his teammates never picked him up.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
I agree, but some of his comments are so blatantly obtuse and ignorant. For example:
Reporter: Do you think Virginia Tech's pass rush affected you?
Kenny: Not at all.
Oh really? So what about the sack fumble for a TD, the multiple sacks, or the rushed passes that went for incompletions? It's just such a stupid thing to say and IMO reflective of the way Narduzzi acts.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
Honestly, it just seemed like he wanted to be anywhere else but in front of media in that moment and was just giving answers that required the least amount of talking. He's 21 years old. I don't think that emotion is anything off or wrong. I doubt anybody on here would've given any better of an interview if they had cameras in their face right after the Duke game.
And what was he supposed to say? "Yes, they really affected me. I was shivering in my boots back there, as you can see by my performance."
There are a plethora of things we can pick on about Pitt surrounding this game. This just seems like a reach. That's all I'm saying.

Well done, Billdozer, first rate work (as always!)
Awesome work BD, you rock!
Dax with 2 fingers up to the douchebag is priceless.
We gotta fix his helmet before he wears off his entire nose.
Eat Shit nardouche
BD you magnificent bastard.
You got me to hit the wrong play button for the zillionth time.
Thank you BillDozer for this masterpiece!
Who else kept mashing the play button at the top and didn't realize it was a picture?
Just you and krak_t π¬
Guilty for at least 2 clicks of it
7 or 8 here
My God. Dax, you're doing the Lords work.
Funny how Nardouche says he despises the sloppy penalties when he's the douche nozzle teaching his players to be chippy/undisciplined. This goose egg meant a lot to this team and to CBF.
who is that Pitt player who was ripping up the turf in the end zone? Taking lessons from his head coach on respect it would seem.
One of the WR's that didn't have a catch. Maybe they should spend their free time practicing instead of imitating their head coach.
That deserves a permaban from all donut shops.
My girl loves π©
I honestly had no hate for Nard until his 'no false start' comment this week. So uncalled for. So happy they got a couple false starts and a donut.
I can't stand Narduzzi.
But the false starts and donut aren't change, they're more of the same.
Couple false starts, an early 2nd half timeout (just about the same as a false start IMO), 2 or 3 illegal formation penalties, AND a donut.
There, fixed it for you.
We would have had a hat trick on the false starts with another INT as a bonus, but the refs called a phantom pass interference on DD instead. Is it me, or are the refs getting worse every game?
No, they have been monumentally shitty the whole time.
They've been bad and are getting worse. At least before the use of replay, the refs got the calls right at least 80-90% of the time. Now their lucky to get near 50%, and still don't know what a catch or PI is when it's right in front of them. It's pretty pathetic.

And how is a call like that, one that can be verified among the easier ways, is player in or out, not reviewable?
I get that, as Fuente said, it's a slippery slope to start reviewing more penalties.
But calls like that are often game changers and need to be right.
On one Pitt drive alone, we had something like 3 or 4 blown calls go against us.

Their point total matched this guy's IQ.

He just need to chime in and say 'hi' and it'll go plaid.
Simply beautiful. Thanks BulldozerVT

Man to man moving to zone it's a big change.
Gotta go man free bear front and crosskey the DL
Sometimes you have to just check them hard at the line. They have a deceptively quick first step though.
First step! There is Nothing faster than toddler just asked "what's in your mouth?"
Oh I have a story!

Anyone have quality longer video of when the Pitt players ran into the Tech players entrance?
Is that what the rumble at the beginning was about? I was at City Beach in RVA and the sound wasn't up very loud.
Trash program! mu without the wins!
Well, THAT happened.
Sometimes you get the final score that you deserve.
Simply amazing - love the effort, video etc. I'm always amazed at how people can put together creative stuff like this - watched it 5 times in a row!
I always love it when we're holding a team to negative yards at some point of the game
Exhibit A:
So glad you included the Chamarri Conner hit near the sideline which was absolutely not a penalty. Those refs were about as terrible as Pitt yesterday.
Awesome work, I could watch Conner light that dude up on the sideline 50 more times, penalty my ass. That was a snot slinging hit
BS call......
Thanks Bill!
Here's a snip to save for eternity!
God I love that man. I want him and James Gayle to become best friends. Jeez I wish they could have played together.
I feel like you may have added your sig either last year or early this year as sarcasm, but it's recently turned out to be true.
I've seen some posts that would indicate that Pitt did some damage to the visitors locker room. Any truth that that rumor?
Posts as in on here? Yeah those pictures are from the grounds and equipment staff at VT. 100% true. Bent chairs and trash everywhere.
The worst I saw in the visiting locker room was after the Miami baseball team visited one year. They shit in the laundry baskets and left it for us to find.

It looks like most of the trash is in the trash receptacles, and 1 chair is bent? It even looks like the recyclables are in the recycling container. Were they supposed to vacuum?
Well first off, ya start with "don't break things". From there, the general rule seems to be to leave it how you found it.
Have you considered it's possible that 300+ lb individuals can actually break a $10 folding chair without intending to do so?
Actually that ten dollar chair is probably worth at least a $100.00 now. I know I am probably not the only TKP moron who would pay a $100.00 for that chair. Or maybe I am. In any event I would love to have that chair prominently placed in my living room to watch Virginia Tech games, and in particular future Pitt games. It is probably in a dumpster near the the stadium. Can anybody help me acquire that chair.
I like your style, and hope you or some VT fan ends up with that chair with that concept in mind.
have you considered looking at the picture to see how it was broken?
Looking at that photo, you think it was a $10 chair? Or unintentional?
lol
You typically leave it as close to the way you found it. Which means a lot of the trash on the floor picked up with some leeway. I assume that if they are publicly posting pictures and complaining about it, VT picked up a lot of trash before this picture was shared.
I was thinking you were probably right. If so, I wish they had taken the pic before VT cleaned up.
1 bent chair isn't good, but seems within the realm of acceptable after the butting kick the LPD gave them.
I would be happy to reimburse the Athletic Department for a bent chair every year if it could guarantee similar ass whuppings!
Can we keep their security deposit for not cleaning up?
Welp, it looks like Pitt has lost the privilege of having chairs in 2021.
The picture I saw was on Facebook and is now posted
belowabove. That's just bulletin board material for next year.Makes me even HAPPIER that someone in the video board/music staff at the game decide to ply Sweet Caroline late in the game and the crowd ran with it!
Oh I bet that was glorious

Fair enough, I hear ya.
He could have been honest and said, yeah, VT has a good defense. But you can hardly blame him for just wanting to be anywhere but there.
I mean, he just just left Lane Stadium with a donut.
I'd be the happiest Hokie in the land if I left Lane with a donut!
