"Jalen's football IQ is off the charts," said Patriot HS head coach Sean Finnerty.
"There's nothing you can give him, and it be too much for him. He can handle anything you throw at him. He studies. He's one of the people where you can tell him anything and he'll make sure he gets it done. You know you've got something special when your best player is also your hardest worker."

Does his play remind you of anybody French? To me, he's got a little Terrell in him with how he can play near the line, play deep, and move up to cover in the box.
I know you asked French, but I'll answer. To me, he looks like a mix of DeAngelo Hall and Brandon Flowers, with a little bit of Deion Sanders and Champ Bailey mixed in.

This is awesome! Not unexpected news, but very exciting. I really like him as a player and look forward watching him in Maroon and Orange. I hope he decides to keep the dreads... That's a real nice look on a safety.

Really like this, so happy to get GS's brother. It was amazing how much Greg developed over his VT career. Hoping for the same for Jalen. That final catch in the commitment video was something else.
I remember when Stro first started and I think we were all like "wtf are you doing?" and watching him grow into a NFL draft pick was awesome.
I remember the first time he signaled for a fair catch on a punt return and I shed a single happy tear

Huge get. I have been following this one for a while. As you know the apple doesn't fall far from the tree (Fullers, Edmunds, Adibis, Lewis, even the Vicks....). I think we are going to see some more Matt Johns kind of hits out of this Hokie. Mr. Stroman welcome aboard look forward to seeing you play in Lane Stadium.
