How about if Marcus Vick had not been such a terrible person who got himself kicked off the team for REPEATED violations, and Ike not been such a knucklehead with a drinking problem, Glennon never would've been pressed into duty before he was ready?
Or why not blame the offensive staff for having such a poor gameplan that the only way it could be successful was by having a scrambling qb who could ad lib/be superman and save the day a couple times a game?
Or blame Newsome for creating an O-line so bad that any qb who wasn't mobile was a dead man back there?
That's whose shoulders the blame should rest on.
Pac-12, I think, actually. But point taken.
I think people read what they want to read into comments. You want to be done with him, to bench him, and to try out Leal, so you look for comments that damage Logan.
Listen people - benching Logan and trotting out Leal is going to go about as well as when the Redskins trotted out John Beck. You think the offense is a disaster now, wait and see what happens when you remove the ONLY thing that works some of the time.
Oooh, I like it.
That's sorta what I figured, so I assume that'll change back next year. Just looking for more bullets.
In UMD, for student non-season ticket holders, instead of just a standard lottery, you'd have a reward system. Each time the ticket you get was used, it bumps up your percentages. Not using it harms your percentages. better % = higher chances of getting a ticket, and better seats. So if you're not able to go, make damn sure you find someone who is to give it to, or don't get one.
Also:
- Real tickets so there won't be anymore paper airplanes. B
- Better cell phone service so I can check other scores during commercial timeouts/halftime, or ask people who are watching on TV WTF just happened (in the event of what appears to be a blown call or a review we couldn't see clearly).
- I would love to be able to buy beer there, but I doubt that'll ever happen
- I want Stick It In back - the old people who complained can go suck on it
- What happened to all the flyovers we used to have? Seems like we've had a lot fewer these past few years. If that's a change, I want it changed back, because B-2 flyovers are the best.
or I could just ignore him manually.
Remember to put Miami in there as well... Unless Duke beats them, I guess.
Yeah, I agree. Edmunds needs way more carries. He looked like a stud out there when he was getting touches. What's the hang up?
Agreed 100% - does Logan deserve criticism? Sure. Especially for that pick-6 (it was just terrible). Is he the root cause of our offensive ineptitude? Hell no. A dearth of playmakers is the root cause, and that goes back to recruiting, I guess.
no, if we beat them and win out, it comes down to tie-breakers, and we'd have the head-to-head. Only team that would have an advantage over us is Duke, and that'd require them to win out.
Oh no! My poor turkey legs!! Oh, the humanity! It's where I derive most of my self-esteem!!
haha, thanks. Yeah I have no idea. People are just grumpy, I guess. Fortunately, I've got like 1,000, so no sweat.
to be fair to Tyrod, that Duke game was like 8 degrees. Nobody could hold onto the ball.
Turnovers are a symptom of offensive dysfunction. Obviously poor QB play is a major cause of this dysfunction, but I think it extends way past that. You can lump all of this on Logan if you want (he certainly deserves some after that terrible pick-six), but to blame the 4 turnovers on him is just scapegoating him IMO. People want a head on a spike, or someone to point to, but there were mistakes across the board tonight. Fact is - we didn't play well as a team, and deserved to lose. Offense and defense. Special teams was really the only unit that fired on all cylinders (shockingly).
thank you. That's sorta what I was trying to say, but I don't think I got it across clearly.
Please, if this is how you act, go somewhere else. We don't need you to come here and gloat. Go away.
oops
From Nike -
"But if we don't add a bunch of ridiculous crap to it, we will have a harder time wildly over-charging people for it!"
The spread can maximize your strengths, and turn the game into more 1v1 matchups, so teams with less talent across the board can still have individual advantages. I wouldn't say it gives less-talented players an advantage.

You know how crappy we all felt? Like all the last two weeks? Well it's all gone - everything's better, and I'm happy. Suck it Canes. Sucks to be U
