What's he gonna say? No, we're definitely redshirting Lawson, before he even gets to campus? Lawson will be given his fair shot at the position in the fall, most likely realize firsthand how much he had to learn, and accept his redshirt without feeling like he was strongarmed into it.
I honestly can't believe Will and Chris keep featuring his articles with that writing style. Back when I frequented TSL, posters were saying the exact same things about it that are being said here. And that was three years ago. Go read any article by Alex and compare it to this just to get a sense of the difference.
Endurance.
I think those red seats are the Dale Earnhardt Terrace, aren't they?
This is weird. I always thought the Elite 11 camp had a "winner," but apparently after they name the eleven, that's it.
Good point. I actually thought there was another round once it got narrowed to 11.
Also, not to downplay Ford's accomplishments at all.
God I hope so. Right now I'm wrestling with the thought of buying season tickets when I like everything 11 hours away just because I think after selling the other games I'd come out cheaper than going Stubhub prices.
Have they ever announced how many actual seats will be in those battlefield areas though? That's what I was (poorly) referring too.
Andrew Ford participated in an Elite 11 combine, but wasn't invited as one of the actual Elite 11 finalists.
OSU tickets are going for $150+ on Stubhub, and $200 is more likely.
In all seriousness, if you see tickets on Stubhub in the $150-$200, would you let me know? I looked the other day and the extreme nosebleeds in the south end zone started at $277. Under $200 I'm a buyer.
Well shit.
Wait, did we have a notable game against Wake Forest last season? I haven't heard anyone mention anything about it on here.
Nice work, Alex.
Lefty is eventually going to land one of these Elite 11 QBs. If he's getting interest when we're playing .500+1 football, I think all that's missing is becoming nationally relevant again.
I think we'll get a much clearer picture when the seating configuration is officially announced. Right now all we know is Bruton Smith has said he plans to add more seating closer to the infield and he expects the capacity for the game to be 150K, 10K less than a NASCAR race. That means off the top, he won't be selling the ten thousand worst seats from the bowl, and however many track/infield seats he adds will mean a reduction in bowl seats by the same number.
The way I look at it is, can they configure BMS so that the worst seat in the house is not considerably worse than the extreme nosebleeds at Neyland or Michigan Stadium or any of the other college megastadiums? I think they can, but we'll have to wait and see.
I've been using an arc trainer instead of an elliptical for cardio, but yeah.
It's my current go to show at the gym, but I've barely scratched the surface of the season. I'm hooked though. Such a great production all around.
Look at how far above the fence this angle is. I think this is taken from the tunnel, which is quite a ways back from the first row. When you consider they'll be adding some seating to the track and infield, there will be plenty of good seats available. Granted, they won't all be good. There will be some horrible seats for sure, but I don't think the majority of them will be bad.
Separated shoulder
Glad to see Brewer use the entire field. He looks so much more comfortable in the pocket, but I'm sure that's easy when you're wearing a yellow jersey.
With Byrd decommitting, it's important we land a QB, but with Lawson just being a redshirt freshman when this class arrives I don't know if that will scare away any blue chip QBs. Lefty needs to work his magic.
We really , really need to land a couple of quality TEs in this cycle, unless the staff is considering moving Durkin, in which case one good TE target would suffice.
I thought his fingertip was still in his glove. Did it take them a while to figure that out?
I'll let Whit hire whoever he thinks is the best candidate to succeed Frank and hope that whoever it is succeeds.
Quarterback Chris Durkin separated his non-throwing shoulder in a practice earlier this week and is out for the rest of spring.

I don't think I've ever seen so many comments go green in one thread.

Oh wow, I didn't even realize those seats were black, I thought they were in shadow. My bad. Still, that's farther than halfway up the stands. Halfway would be about at the first row of tunnels. You're approaching nosebleed area when you get into those terraces.
