I have a feeling that Polaroid will be this season's red backpack. Everyone will talk about when it will pop back up, and in the end it was just put in as a continuity point.

I think the show did this to themselves with the grenade in season 1. Now fans look for random stuff to pop back up at pivotal moments in the plot.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan was such a good choice. The bullshit cliffhanger aside, every scene with Negan has been outstanding.

Just realized Thursday is a travel day for the World Series. Thank God. I hated having my attention divided between VT/Miami and the NLCS.

I've always thought of a "bad loss" as a loss to a team that has no business beating you. I wouldn't call UNC's loss to us bad, even though we beat them by 31. A blowout loss =/= a bad loss.

I mean, I had them on separate screens, one TV and one tablet. But I can't watch both screens at the same time. Even if they're side by side, I found myself focusing on one for a few minutes, then the other, as the situations in each game warranted.

Me going back and forth between VT/Miami and the NLCS:

Michael Ian Black is hilarious, but is absolutely not suited to doing stand-up. He's meant to be either a writer for sketch or situation comedy, or an editorialist.

We need to go 1-0 five more times before we worry about that.

The State will always get a leg from me.

Back to the bottom of the Coastal standings.

I hope the tablet has considerably better battery life than the Wii U gamepad.

I like the idea of seamless integration of console and handheld gaming, I just don't know that there's significant market demand for that.

I know our moods are all Blackened by the loss to Syracuse. It's Sad But True. However, it's important that the team does not come out tonight feeling Unforgiven by the fanbase. Mama Said you can't just be a fan in the good times. Thankfully we're known for raucous night games, and I'm sure there will be Whiskey in the Jar as we watch the sky Fade to Black. I have faith that Bud has the defense primed to Seek and Destroy, and I believe our offense can be the Hero of the Day. I'm hopeful this game will help us Turn the Page on the Syracuse disappointment.

All you say is true, and none of it changes the fact that it was a bad look for the program. As soon as we found out Clemson was willing to pursue the waiver, anyone with PR skills would have done the same. The guy had an amazing story, and wanted to play for us much more than we wanted him to play for us. That was a failure on our part.

Nigel more than Ekanem in that regard, IMO. However, for the first time in a while, we have plenty of beef on the DL. Historically, I'd argue the struggles against a smash mouth OL have been the size differential. That should be mitigated somewhat, even with Nigel out.

I could see Mihota having a big game. Size to blow past some blocks, speed to run around some.
