It's not just the big-name coach and it's not just the NIL; it's the way this all went down. Truly the perfect turn of events. JMFF was out the game for 7 weeks. Because we share a similar region of the country and a similar type of campus (rural land grant), he could pick up right where he left off, recruiting the same guys to basically the same school just a different location.
This class could go from outside the top 100 to inside the top 35 in 6(?) weeks.

He has similar offset as Franklin I believe. He may regret not taking their $30M buyout because LSU strikes me as being very petty so if he doesn't try to get another head coaching gig, I think they will go after him.
