Have to shoot the ball much better than we did on Sunday. Also need to keep the rebounds at least even. We were torched on the boards by JMU. Can't expect to win many games when you get out-rebounded to that degree, especially when combined with such a low shooting percentage.

# | Hokie Hoops Central: St Mary's (7-0) vs Virginia Tech (6-0) Battle4Atlantis ESPN 230pm After today against Colorado State, where the Rams used a high number of cutting actions to get easy layups in the paint, facing a more efficient version of that offense is pretty concerning.
This is very concerning to me also. We need to be very aware of backdoor cuts and continually disrupt passing lanes.
Opposing offenses have brutally low numbers. Shooting 41% from the floor and 27% from outside. The Gaels also hold about a 15 rebounds per game average advantage.
Yikes! This looks like our numbers from yesterday's game. Need a better shooting game.
The Hokies will need a much better game from Tobi Lawal today. He had a three point and two rebound performance against the Rams. That wont cut it against the Gaels if the Hokies are going to win.
Yeah... Tobi seemed off yesterday. Other than the highlight dunk, he just wasn't himself. I'm hoping it was because of the early foul trouble (two in the first 5 or 6 minutes and his third in the 1st minute of the second half). Hopefully he'll reset for today.
Maybe for Neo, some ice, rest, and lots of tape will make him good-to-go.
By the way... line today is VT +4.5... I actually agree. Going to need to match their size and also they have a pretty darn good Euro themselves who likes to operate on the post. I want to see Dorn in there banging around today.
