I actually think there's a good chance.
1) We are a football school that needs help. One of the more famous football schools that are not SEC.
2) He's good at rebuilds, we'd be easy to please and forgiving as a fanbase.
3) Recently committed to spend the money it takes to get to top 15.
4) Recruited the same area as previous team.
5) Facilities are good. May need some upgrades, already started with additional money committed, so he can add input there
6) Good relationship with ESPN. We can get Thursday nights anytime we want.
7) Sports writers and video would have us the talk of the town with a hire like this.
8) We did not throw the previous failed coach out of town on a rail - tarred and feathered. We told him we really liked him but need to win more and invited him to the divorce party.
9) We are a relatively easy path to the CFP. Han be famously back to where he was in a few years and have the receipts to show his skills.
