Two years ago, North Carolina, Clemson, and Florida State were the three ACC teams to vote against newcomers Cal, Stanford, and SMU joining the conference. This weekend, Cal defeated North Carolina, SMU defeated Clemson, and Stanford defeated Florida State.

2 fucking wins again. I'm gonna start letting my cats make my picks.
We should hire this guy last week and twice on Sunday.
And today is Sunday.
Please hire him, and talk him into a good deal, letting Penn State pay part of his salary.
Of course I'm amenable to hiring most of the coaches mentioned so far, and would support whichever one we can get locked in earlier rather than later.
Until I see a boxing glove on a stick, it's a coaching problem!
One more example of why it's better to be lucky than good.
We definitely need the floor raised.
Sadly, the odds seem forever not in our favor.
Um, I'm pretty sure were not worried about upsets
I despise his preferred brand of football, and I don't think he appreciably raises the ceiling of the program.
But he definitely would raise the floor. We kind of have to shoot our shot
I guarantee if FSU was a 0 to 2 loss team it gets overturned by the way. Miami last year being a great example.
This is why every field should have a camera above the goal line. Unbelievable how many times they can't make a call because so many bodies are right there.
Not enough to overturn that one. Looked like the angle straight down the goal line was completely blocked. I think he was in as well, but once they said short on the field, FSU was doomed
ACC makes a mockery of itself again.
I think he was in but ACC
How did Stanford let this happen?
That was absolutely pass interference
What a gong show ending to this one too lol
If he were interested in the challenge at VT, I wouldn't hesitate.
He'd absolutely be better than the last two coaches at VT, not that the bar is all that high. He may be here a shorter amount of time, but savvy negotiation could potentially get him at a (relatively) bargain price.
That was awful after Castellanos went out
Yeah, Castellanos showed what he could do on that play if he didn't let go of the ball. That is not gonna help FSU's chances on this one
Stanford wins though with Castellanos on the bench. Freshman has barely looked down field in his two chances.
10 back, 15 forward and a 1st I'm pretty sure
Interested to see how they enforce this. Late hit was after the play.
That one I actually thought should be overturned based on where the hands and ball landed, though admittedly I didn't watch too closely, so I was super shocked that it was upheld.

The data in Sheldon's article is a good callout! Should have included above.
