I don't think so no, but I am interested to see how his three FBS games compare to the first three. Its pretty clear when you look at all the team data that we're being sunk by Vanderbilt and ODU.
The last to have been at least close to respectably bad for a rebuilding team. The first 3 games were Oklahoma State, UNC levels of bad. Funny that there might be a trend there.

8 Alabama at 14 Missouri (A -3.5)
7 Indiana at 3 Oregon (Ore. -7.5)
Arkansas at 12 Tennessee (tn -12.5)

Frosty's Dad and I nearly exact opposite in picks (both picked Utah)- IDK if that's a good sign or bad lol....
Hard to have good fundraising with a fundraising organization that is led by somebody with no fundraising experience.
Why is that? I already believed him to be an egotistical sonofabitch, just from his coaching style. It's not that much of a stretch to believe that his ego was too big for him to be successful at UNC.

Maybe they could link Belichek to some type of academic scandal. You know, a well-respected research institute like UNC with high academic standards, but he did something to allow players to get unacceptable academic benefits. Even grades that they did not deserve by tampering with the scores. No was UNC, the NCAA or the academic accreditation organizations would allow that.

The Cal game is now our Superbowl and for my liver's sake I should probably stop watching football after that. Any other learnings I should be taking away from this?
Again, simply picking the team that I want to lose the game gives me:
1 Ohio State at 17 Illinois (anOSU -15.5) (prefer OSU over any other blue blood, so would want them near the top at the end of the year to try and eliminate the blue bloods I dislike; thought about going to OSU)
8 Alabama at 14 Missouri (A -3.5) Lived 6 mostly miserable years in MO and so it carries over
7 Indiana at 3 Oregon (Ore. -7.5) Honestly, no real preference, but Oregon has some of the world's ugliest uniforms
Arkansas at 12 Tennessee (tn -12.5) Honestly, don't really care either way
Florida at 5 Texas A&M (Ta/m -7.5) Had a couple brothers who went to Texas A&M
21 Arizona State at Utah (Ut. -5.5) Man, again, no real preference. Got into an argument with a stuck-up Utah professor a little while ago, so there is that. But nothing really against either of these teams and actually kind of like both.
Pens fan reporting for duty. Not expecting a ton of great results this year (though Tuesday was a pleasant surprise), but I'm probably more excited than i have been in a few years.
The last few seasons we were bad, boring, and old which is tough to watch. New coaching staff and a lot of young prospects to get excited about this year. Watching them grow and gel through the season should be something to root for.

To answer your question, legal precedent is not set by a settlement. Only judges can set legal precedent by handing out a legal ruling on a case. And generally, appellate courts set legal precedent (not the lower level courts).
Yea. These are some of the major issues. And, one solution (one would think) is to have the AI cite their sources. The issue is that these language models learn how to write a source citation but just make up the source with something believable but not real.
For images, Ihave noticed Gemini will not allow one to create images of celebrities with "make it realistic" or similar command. You can command it to "make it the style of South Park" or some other clearly fictional depiction, but that also has its own issues. Not sure if other image generators are doing the same.
In the Ole Miss model, the associate AD is the role what I mean by the University GM. In my ideal scenario, VT's committee would hire that position in Nov. to then have that individual hire the HC and his GM by Dec.
In the alternative, my hope is that the VT hiring committee hires a coach by December but would indicate to any HC candidate interviewing that VT plans to hire a Associate AD for football, essentially letting any coach know that they will have a stability in a boss and a specific boss that only has football responsibilities. This would reduce concerns about the uncertainty surrounding Whit and the Ath. Dept.
Based on the lack of discussion around this position, I don't think VT has any plans to hire an individual to this position. So, good luck to the hiring committee in luring an elite coach with the smell of sh!t all around the VT Ath. Dept.
Why not just one signing period for both HS and portal transfers in June. ALL new players report to fall camp along with holdovers.
