If ESPN covers, nay features, poker and ESPN's motto is "SPORTS FOREVER" Then the door is swung open to accept these championship teams as sports.

I'm pretty sure this won't come up often in polite conversation, as it's not an athletic championship.

So you wouldn't want to bring it up in the context of a football or basketball national championship unless you want to highlight that you don't have one of those.

If we deny them then what does that look like? Do we mobilize the corp seal team 6 style to collect all the collegiate times copies and then burn it down so there isnt a record? Do the kidnap the contestants and turn the math emporium into gitmo? I assume there are more documents of this happening, did VT have a press release denying it happened and expel the students removing any record if them? I am just curious what not claiming this looks like.

I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around.... The Utah Mammoth.

Rooting for the Sabres cause that's where I learned to love Hockey.

Playoff Hockey is the best hockey.

The Jim's are real beauts

How are the Capitals doing?

The box on the boats so you can gamble, duh

will Alum be pulling for the Canes or his boy Gritty in Rd. 2?

Hah! This is the one series I've been waiting for since the Whale moved down. Just a shame it is now and not the ECF.

Truth be told, Canes first cause they're my only true local team. Regardless, I hope whoever wins this series wins the Cup.

As for my prediction, watching the Flyers the last round, I don't think they are prepared for the Canes system. They looked straight up gassed against Pitt the last few games and Carolina will skate them far harder than Pitt did.

I'm just glad I snagged a ticket to Game 2

I have seen some photos of big drum from Poqouson Flats earlier this month. They have been showing up in early April pretty consistently on the flats. Had not heard anything about them from York Spit, but it wouldn't shock me. People get them from the pier in Glouchester in late August/early September.

College Bowl was the first sanctioning body, and was the closest to Jeopardy! in difficulty.

NAQT ramped up the difficulty, especially in Division 1 (those with at least 3 years of college experience)

ACF ramped up the difficulty from Division 1.

Local tournaments are generally the easier style of tournament, unless they were content specific, with regionals being more difficult, and nationals being the hardest.

All of those are going to tend to be much more academic-focused, though TRASH (Pop Culture) would always be a fun way to end a weekend.

Still nothing here in the Mobjack area but a few nice fat rockfish. No trout, no reds yet.
Local paper reported several citations reported for big red drum at the York Spit. French, 3rd Gen and I fished that spit for cobia a few years ago, but I've not been out there for a while.
My Yamaha needed complete maintenance, but my regular mechanic is pretty stove up with physical ailments. As a favor to a long time customer, he agreed to do the talking and bossing and I would do the grunt work and try to follow directions. Top to bottom, with plugs, oil and filter, clean the injectors, fuel separator filter, lower unit and the first water pump I think it's gotten since the motor was made in 2005. I plan to sell out here in the not too distant future, so I won't be learning anything I'll need for the future as I'll probably not own another motorboat. It will be nice to start the season right, hopefully there will be fish to make it a good one.

While most in the US call it crew, they of course have to call it rowing...

That's still up for debate...
